    Dumb Question

For the record, Disneyland Paris is also called "Magic Kingdom" in certain spiels that date back to 1992 and in publicity material from around the time when the studios opened... before they settled on "Disneyland Park." Also, it's increasingly used to refer to the "type" of theme park that's...

TDS Main Entrance/ World Bazaar Music

It must have changed since it includes Paragon Ragtime tracks, which were recorded way after 1983.

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

Well, here are the tracks from the "Forever" and "Treasures of Fantasy" CDs. I briefly considered expanding this to other releases -- the old Official Albums and the Musical History set all have tracks used in Paris, not to mention all the needledrop stuff that can be found -- but I guess it...

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

Let's see... the generic Pirates loop here in Paris includes two different versions of "Blow the Man Down" -- one released on DLF, the other one on "une journ?e." A couple of Club 33 and Disney Gallery tracks appear to be playing at L'Auberge de Cendillon restaurant, though I never managed to...

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

Not sure if a list exists; I spent a lot of time digging up these tracks one by one. If I'll have some free time in the next days, I can try to make a list myself, though...

    Hong Kong Disneyland

Nope... the fireworks were only part of the press event. The daily Bougillumination show doesn't have any fireworks.

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

X-S: From the top of my head, most of it came from the Treasures of Fantasy box set... Now, they're not the most prominent pieces of DLRP music, but a few of them I had been searching for a while. Without looking it up, there's the exit music from Star Tours, a whole bunch of tracks from Big...

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

Ironically, I found more DLRP attraction/area music on Tokyo releases than on DLRP's albums.

Disneyland Paris 15th Anniversary 2 Disc Set

Well... another Entertainment album from DLRP... It seems there is one (1) new non-parade or show track on there, but all in all, it's another disappointment for anyone who cares about ride and area music. I suppose the Phantom Manor medley is the same catastrophe they've been using since...

WDW Country Bear album side B tracks?

Come to think of it, does anyone know more about the Mile Long Bar music loop? Like a track list, or information about the recordings? It *seems* to come from the same recording sessions as the Big Thunder loops (in fact, DLP's loop uses some of the tracks) and the country-style The Land loop...

    Columbia Tracks

Not to drag this too far off-topic, but I just wanted to confirm that the slow music track mentioned by X-S indeed underscores the voyage of both DLP riverboats. The exit music over here is "Milenberg Joys" by the Firehouse Five.

WDW Country Bear album side B tracks?

Thanks! Glad to know that they do exist on CD... Now, how could I get my hands on this in Europe..? At worst, would anyone be willing to trade for DLRP music?

WDW Country Bear album side B tracks?

Hey, can anyone help me find the tracks from side 2 of the 1972 Country Bear vinyl album? Were they included on the Wonderland version? The tracks are labled: Mile Long Bar - Bile 'Em Cabbage Down Mile Long Bar - Polly Wolly Doodle Mile Long Bar - Wabash Cannonball Mile Long Bar - Bearless...

TV theme feat. "Part of Your World"?

Hey, thanks! I must have missed that! It's actually intro #10 on that page. Now, would anyone know if it's possible to find the music in good quality..? I know it's kind of a long shot, but then again, with all the stuff floating around.....

TV theme feat. "Part of Your World"?

More than a decade ago, there was a certain title sequence played before Disney movies on TV here in Europe, underscored by an orchestral medley of "When You Wish Upon A Star" and "Part of Your World"... Does anyone have an idea with what show it originated, and -- more importantly -- if it's...

    DLRP: new CD confirmed

5 is from the Hillbilly Trio, a band performing in Frontierland; 9 is from the African percussion group, 12 *and* 13 are both from the Easter "Alice in Wonderland" show, not from the labyrinth, and 16 is from The Legend of the Lion King. The whole album is hugely disappointing; apart from the...

How do your organize your theme park music?

My DLRP files are simply sorted by Land (with the Studios being the 6th "land")... and then I have the mp3s meticulously named in the respective folder. Such as DLRP music/4 - Fantasyland/4 - Dumbo the Flying Elephant 01 - Whip and Spur.mp3 (the land number is repeated in the file name so it...

    New Discoveryland music...?

Okay, it turns out that this is not a replacement loop, or in fact much of a music loop at all. By now I got to spend a few more seconds in the area and it's in fact only a sequence of synth notes which is playing (it seems) only around the actual fountains, supplementing the original loop...

    New Discoveryland music...?

Walking out of DLP today, I heard some unfamiliar music from the Discoveryland fountain speakers... less harmonic and playful, somewhat more ethereal and modern synths than those of David Tolley's loop. Whether that was temporary or not I couldn't tell, and I didn't have time to stick around...

DLRP Main Street Music - What is it?

This is floating around on the web as part of the US parks' "Main Street Cinema" music along with some similar tracks, so I'd guess that's where it originally came from (theme park-wise, at least -- it's probably needledrop). I'm afraid I don't have a title or sheet music, though.
