    Disneyland Hotel [DLRP]

Perhaps they played that a while ago? I remember that a few years back they played a Disney Afternoon compilation CD. At another point they had an official DLP album playing. Since they're commercially available CDs, they got replaced quite a lot over the years. I feel that the DLH should really...

    Disneyland Hotel [DLRP]

Seeing how DLP likes to put on CDs in their hotel lobbies, I'd guess it's a compilation CD such as this one: http://www.nutsie.com/album/The%20Disney%20Collection%20Vol.%20No.%201/1101839 ...which also has all the tracks you were sure about, some even in the same order.

The Spirit of a Venture: Walt Disney Records and Intrada

I love that cover art! The fact alone that it was approved that way really makes me look forward to this series...

What is Treasures of Fantasy Album?

Well, compared to DLP's releases, it's still theme park music paradise! I don't know if that's because our entertainment composer produces those CDs himself or because there's really not much demand for attraction and area music in Paris... I've said it before on here, but I got more DLP...

    Blue Lagoon Restaurant [DLRP]

IIRC, the music is coming from speakers hidden in the thatched roof above the tables. It is very low and you might pick it up clearly only in specific spots... not least because of the ride's SFX.

    Blue Lagoon Restaurant [DLRP]

The Pirates Cove loop plays in the reception and waiting area of the restaurant (where the POTC artwork is displayed), you're right in that it doesn't play during the ride. The Blue Lagoon-specific marimba/percussion loop only plays once you step "out" into the actual Lagoon dining room.

Looking forward to the Casey Jr. area BGM... ;) Oh yeah, and have fun, too!

    Big Nelly [DLRP]

This may actually warrant a separate topic, I guess, but for the moment I'll just reply here... moderators, feel free to split if appropriate! I was quite intrigued by this as I have absolutely no recollection of what played at the Carrousel before the current loop was installed (I somehow...

    Big Nelly [DLRP]

I don't think the CM in question really knew what they were talking about.... The Carrousel loop is housed backstage with the general area loops, out of reach for most CMs. I'll have to add that even I don't know for sure what they use for these nowadays and they might have guessed correctly...

    Sassagoula Water Taxi BGM

From my 2009 visit, I remember that Riverside had a different music loop than French Quarter, with slow Bluegrass-type music on the boat... I take it that has changed, then...?

Lyrics for Compass of Your Heart [TDS]

The original English lyrics (written by Glen Slater) haven't been released, but Disney published its own translation of the Japanese lyrics on the Sindbad "story papers" which are sometimes handed out to guests: Lift your sails to the heavens, steer straight towards the horizon. A bright...

    Cottonwood Creek [DLRP]

After listening to the loop again, I can confirm "I Saw the Light" as track 5 and "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" as track 16. The person who compiled that second list, however, not only removed track 2 and added it back in after track 5, but also mistook "Streets of Laredo" for "Wild Rover"...

    Cottonwood Creek [DLRP]

    Here's the rough Cottonwood Creek tracklist I've created a couple of years back... 1. ? 2. Old Joseph - Arrangement 1 3. Tumblin' Tumbleweeds 4. ? 5. ? 6. My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean 7. ? 8. ? 9. Streets of Laredo 10. ? 11. ? 12. Cool Water 13. Old Man Tucker 14. Old Joseph - Arrangement 2...

Crystal Palace [MK] / Plaza Inn [DL]

Sorry, I can't confirm for either of those three, but I can confirm that it was (is?) used at Disneyland Paris' Plaza Gardens restaurant (and for a while at the Salon Mickey shareholders' lounge).

    Cottonwood Creek [DLRP]

[Split from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad by Admin] Cowboy Cookout has the general Cottonwood Creek area music loop, which uses tracks from the WDW Frontierland loop (c.v. the previous thread about that one) as well as similar tracks (with a regular drum set) from another source which I've...

    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

As I wrote previously, two or three tracks are missing from the 54:54 loop, explaining the difference in duration. Several loops from Paris which I've downloaded have missing tracks like that (Bella Notte, Cottonwood Creek...); I have no precise idea why.

    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

If it starts with "West of the Wide Missouri" and ends with "Old Dan Tucker" it's the Paris loop... if I remember correctly, the tracks missing are "Bile 'em Cabbage Down" and "Polly Wolly Doodle." Plus maybe some third track...?

    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Having worked at BTM Paris for a couple of years, I can confirm that it is, in fact, the Paris loop. Like most DLP area music loops circulating in the web it's missing a track or two, but apart from that it's identical.

    DLR Notes 2.15.09

That's about right. Generally they took pieces from the WDW loop and mixed them with tracks from other sources. WDI does that a lot, actually, mixing and matching single tracks for different loops in different parks... The DLRP Keelboats use music from Splash Mountain. When I visited Epcot two...

    DLR Notes 2.15.09

I take it you're referring to the WDW Frontierland loop? I think it is genuine, but only as far as WDW is concerned. At DLRP, elements of that loop are used in several locations in different order and with slightly different edits for two tracks (replacing solo instruments by whistling). You can...
