    DLR Notes 2.15.09

The DLRP loop consists of only four tracks, all of which are part of the WDW Frontierland loop that's circulating. They are: - Ghost Riders in the Sky - Back in the Saddle Again - Pecos Bill - Yellow Rose of Texas So, it's completely seperate from the BTM loop, but it does share three tracks...

    DL Railroad Narration

As far as I know, the English portion of the DLRP version was done by Mike Wagner, Jack Wagner's son who recorded plenty of park announcements before leaving Disney around '00.

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Yeah, that seems to be it! Thanks, that makes another music loop list complete. :)

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Nope... I'd give bilingual tours and tend to give people a break every now and then... ;)

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Yep... telling people to remain seated and inane chatter is what we... um, they're being payed for. Well, that and bringing the boats back in without an accident. I'd be interested in a recording of the keelboat's original spiels, by the way...

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

It's difficult. During the tour the music is constantly interrupted by the pilot's spiels... I might find a way eventually, but for now I don't have the equipment.

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Thanks wedroy1923, so that leaves just one track to identify and three to find! For now I'm glad to have the source of most tracks confirmed. Guess I should have completed my Splash Mountain collection before asking...

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Yeah, it's roughly adapted to the boat's cycle time of load/tour/unload. After these six tracks the loop stops and the pilot has to reset it for the next cycle.

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

(Sorry for digging up this old topic, but I was without an internet connection for a while.) So, I've managed to catch a recording of the loop... nothing to add to a collection, but it ought to do for identifying the tracks. The loop is actually very short, designed to fit the ride cycle of...

    DLRP Frontierland music loop

Nope... They're not sound FX and they're not from the same albums as the rest of the tracks... I compiled that list you mentioned and posted it on here a while ago. Unfortunately I still don't know the missing titles.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - Exterior BGM

Re: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - Exterior BGM Playlist Right... so, as I was saying, I remember reading an interview with Greg Meader in which he explained the reverb effect. Now, what's curious is that I was almost certain that it was on this site, but there's no trace of that interview...

    Jungle Cruise Queue BGM

Wow... having grown up in and near Cologne, the last thing I expected to find mentioned on this board was the zoo of my childhood years... Now what is Sven Kirsten (whose Book of Tiki I treasure) doing at my zoo? Uh... this isn't veering off-topic, is it? Right, the Jungle Cruise. Sorry.

Cinderella's Golden Carousel area music playlist

The DLP band organ is definitely not functioning... It's a pretty basic prop. As for the music loop, at least for DLP I can confirm that the first track really is "When You Wish Upon A Star" as noted, as there's a noticable break after "Feed the Birds".

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

For the moment, even on crowded weekends there actually isn't much of a queue for the keelboats. This might be because of its position way in the back of Frontierland and due to the fact that it's not mentioned on the park map. Listening to a recording of "Golden Slippers," it does ring a bell...

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

The DLRP loop is fast and upbeat as well and indeed has nothing in common with the WDW tracks online. The version of "Polly Wolly Doodle" may actually be the same as used on BTM Paris and on the Country Bears album (of which I still seek a copy here in Europe, btw). I don't have a tracklist...

    DLRP Keelboats BGM

Now here's a loop I never knew existed... The keelboats in Paris have an on-board BGM loop much in the style of Big Thunder, The Land, Splash Mountain WDW and the Mile Long Bar tracks. The tracklist includes "Oh Susanna" (not the Land/BTM version as far as I can remember), "Polly-Wolly-Doodle"...

    Market House Partylines

There is more, though I couldn't provide a sort of track list... The "burning barn" segment is just one of several conversations.

Big Thunder Mountain BGM - WDW Version

If the loop is 54'54'', starts with "West of the Wide Missouri" and ends with "Old Dan Tucker" then it's most likely the Paris loop that you found, missing two or three tracks (maybe it's Tokyo's similar loop?). I came across that one a while back and it's indeed labled MK for some reason. It's...

    Sindbad's Storybook Voyage

Compass of your Heart? I don't suppose there's any news on a release of the new soundtrack to TDS's Sindbad's Storybook Voyages..? When I was visiting Japan a few months after the ride's re-opening, I was surprised that it hadn't been published. It seems that all that's floating around are live...

Disneyland Dark Rides - Queue Music?

As far as I know (and at least this counts for the DLRP versions of the rides), the queue music for Snow White, Pinocchio and Peter Pan was re-recorded closely following the original arrangements, but they're not the actual movie tracks. So, to answer the original question, to do the same...
