Re:A Musical History of Disneyland ? The Facts

The person with whom I spoke at Disney Direct said that one person ordered 25 of them.

Wow, and I almost felt guilty for buying two of them.

Does anyone know if Premium AP discounts will apply for those who purchase them at DL? Or is it considered a collectible to which the discount doesn't apply? I'll be there on the 5th...

Your AP discount dose apply at Disneyland. Also, if there are any cast members with a 20% or 35% discount, remeber that since this is a cd set, you only get a 10% discount.

Re:A Musical History of Disneyland ? The Facts

Hey Mike, good to hear you got a copy already. Would you consider posting a playlist of the 6 CDs just so we could see the track lengths? To do this, just play the CDs in Winamp and generate an html playlist, then copy and paste. It'll show the track titles if someone has already entered them online as well as the times. Even if the track titles don't show, thoses of us reading will be able to determine which track is which by the track list posted already. Thanks and have a great day.

Cast members get their full discount. It's only DVD's, Videos and Computer games that get the reduced 10%.

CDs are also only a 10% for Cast member. That is how I always remeber it in the park. Also, a Cast Member friend of mine was going to buy his online but it only showed a 10% discount instead of his usual 35% so he just went down to the park and bought it at the same price and didnt have to wait for shipping.

Thanks for posting the times. Are the "asterisk" items (like the sounds of the Fire Engine, etc.) counted in the times of the previous track, the following track, or are their times additional time on the disc not accounted for in any of these times?

Just curious how that works :)

The items with the asterisks are either at the beging or ends of the tracks with numbers. They are usally just a very short little thing so instead of having a bunch of small tracks, they were just added to the others.

Randy,

Why was the Electrical Parade not given a full re-mixed track that included all the floats presented in the parade through the years? Will ever such a mix be present anytime soon? Thanks for your great work on the set! Cant wait to enjoy it.

Re:A Musical History of Disneyland ? The Facts

What a fantastic set. I?ve been hunting for this stuff for years and now?it?s all right there. Too bad I?ve already managed to compile most of them on cd. Although there are a few classic gems that have eluded me which makes it worth the price just for those. My eyes nearly busted out of my head when I saw the Circlevision Amercia the Beautiful show.

A few questions if I may:

1. What?s the Haunted Mansion Holiday (Premiere Edition)? I have one with all the scarols, etc? is that it?

2. Which Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln show is featured?

3. ?The Sounds of the Autopia? Old Auto or new Auto?

4. Does the book come with both packages?

Thanks!

You can find more expansive answers to most of your questions in other posts on this board but here a fast rundown:

1. What?s the Haunted Mansion Holiday (Premiere Edition)? I have one with all the scarols, etc? is that it?
-> the soundtrack as heared inside the building in the FIRST year

2. Which Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln show is featured?
-> the old one (NOT opening with the barber)

3. ?The Sounds of the Autopia? Old Auto or new Auto?
-> doe they sound different? It is just some motor noise

4. Does the book come with both packages?
-> yes

Not the engines. The spiels however are very different. I have numerous old Auto spiels but have yet to find the newer dialogue. The tower audio would be nice too.
