This is the perpetual problem with Disney, these days. They don't care about the fanboys and fangirls. And Randy Thornton doesn't care enough to even keep us posted here anymore. Bummer!
Well, at least we know something now, thanks to WDWGuy. Maybe the delay will give Randy Thornton time to put together a medley from the new Spaceship Earth. And PLEASE include the brief but gorgeous load music to the new O' Canada....
I seem to recall that when some of us were complaining about the 2006-7 OA, Thornton indicated that certain tracks that were left off it (such as Reflections of China) would appear next year. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to post on this board any longer. I can't remember the last time...

One of the selections played by the "Observatron" at the Tomorrowland is a nice snippet of music from the lamented Timekeeper attraction at EPCOT. I'll second X-S's recommendation of Space Mountain. The great musical score is an integral part of the experience. Have fun!
I was also a regular patron of Footlights for many years. The place was a dump, the staff were cranky, but they carried a terrific selection of out-of-print soundtracks.
