Ordering "A Musical History of Disneyland"

If I pay $8 or $200 a new cd should not have scratches on it
I also have scratches on 4 of the 6 discs. A tiny pattern of thin lines about an eighth to a quarter inch long, mid-disc, following the arc of the disc on discs 2&4. The other two have them more randomly, but all following the arc of the disc.
Looks like they were scratched in a machine
They play fine though so I haven't decided what, if anything, to do about it.
The track listing on the back of the box is handy as its the only one besides the one in the hard back book. But mine was only held on by two of those little rubbery sticky bits. It looked as if it would get bent or pulled off entirely if you weren't really careful. So I gently pulled it off keeping the sticky bits intact on the cardstock and centered it on the inside of the red box top. Voila. Its protected and easy to access. Just what I did. ymmv

I hope the scratch thing doesn't become a problem. Ive only listened to parts of them on my home system and computer. I hope the cars player is fine with them.
They sound remarkable by the way! Really incredibly well done. The sound is full and rich in a way my official park album stuff isn't.

It is my understandng that all back orders will be filled, so you should get both sets. Back orders are supposed to ship in 3 to 4 weeks.I'm really confused....numbers over #5000?
Isn't the LE only 5000 in number total?
I'm on 'backorder' status on my sets.

I still really want the gold vinyl, so what are my options? I live in CT so I can't actually go to the parks. I believe WDW and DL have sets to sell through their mail order departments. DelieverEars said they would start taking orders on the LE set May 3. WDW would order one for me, but the lady did not know whether it was the LE or SE I was ordering.

I ordered mine from DisneyDirect on Tuesday morning, and it arrived today. No scratches to be seen and my Limited Edition number is 0743.

I ordered mine from Disney Direct Tuesday morning as well but was put on the "backordered" list. I was told last night I would have mine by the middle of May. It's amazing to me that there are those of you who have purchased the CD in the park-I called last night to order the new 2 CD set and a few other Happiest Homecoming on Earth items. I asked about the 6 CD set and was told I can't even try to order it until May 3. I am still confused.

Number 1960 was just delivered to my door. No scratches on the cds , gold record and everything looks great!
One very minor issue is if I want to take one or two in the car to play them the cds do not come in individual cases with tracklistings. I'll just type up my own I guess

My # is 1799 and it just arrived today. Now I'm off to find a frame for the LP so I can hang it on the wall!
Mine also came in the mail today. I've put on my finest headphones (makes SUCH a difference) and I'm already part-way through Disc 2. Amazing sound. I did take the trusty can o' air to clean some specks off the CDs. Looks like some little bits from the foam pegs that hold the CDs in the case (but those foam pegs are great... I always have the worst time getting CDs off the grippy plastic pegs).
LE #3405. On a side note, I was thinking about what the most coveted LE #'s might be... 0050, 5000 and perhaps 1313?

Darn you folks living close to the distribution center. I ordered mine Tuesday too, but I'm in California still waiting.
Like your number notion. Don't understand what 1313 is all about, but what about 0717, eh? Personally, I'd like it if mine had that number.
