It's a high-end version of the diecast model. I don't know which one you purchased, but there is a low-end 1:18 "Standard" model, a middle-of-the-line 1:18 "Elite" model, and a top-of-the-line 1:18 "Super Elite" model.

The Super Elite model is the most highly detailed, with over 400 parts, and is supposed to be individually serialized, etc. Originally, it was to be produced in a limited edition of 1966, but Mattel apparently over sold it, and no one knows how many ended up being made. The Super Elite model sells for around $279-$299.

Awwww man. Found it. Now, I'm still totally pleased with the standard version, but... but... awww man. I know, use the standard version to play with, and the Super Elite (if I can find one) to sit on a shelf and look good. OK, just justified trying to get the Super Elite.

'Fraid you've got the wrong guy, Marko. I only post on this and one other forum and I tend to keep a more professional demeanor on the other one. But don't get me wrong...I love being mistaken for other identities.

And Ben, I just think there's a certain irony that folks complain about how often I post spam (see entry: Dotty) but it seems that folks 'round here have a hankerin' for the taste of Spam.

I don't know about irony, as much as slow news on the Disney music front. Plus, maybe people like a little mystery to solve as to who some of these characters are. At this point though, I am starting to doubt it is you posting as "somebody else", Bill. I think even you would be tired of this game and have given up when it was no longer fun, or had become pointless.
