Thanks for the updates Jay. I am glad I haven't spent all the money on my gift card to Amazon I got from my hubby for Christmas! I am like Horizons. I may have never really listened to African music if I had not heard it in the parks, but I love it. I have purchased a lot of the CD's in the lists already, and I love them all. The good thing is that my husband loves them too. He doesn't complain about listening to this like he does about the Mickey Mouse Club March or It's a Small World. I can play the Afrrican stuff around the house all I want and he doesn't care. Thanks again, Jay!

I have the Worotan cd in front of me and there's no track entitled Denko. The only track that runs close to 5:10 is Baba which has already been identified elsewhere in the loop.

I believe it is on the CD Oumou, released in 2004 (Track 10).

This is a mistake that has already been corrected in the Playlists section.

Interestingly, iTunes lists Denko as being on both Oumou  iTunes  and Worotan  iTunes .

...and its [Denko] available on iTunes.

Be careful with the digital downloads. As stated in my warning notice, some of them can have vastly different playing times and/or be different versions. You're okay with Denko, though.

I visited the AKL on Father's Day and discovered that Disc 1 is playing again.

While cleaning up some music folders today I managed to ID Track 42.

Just two unknowns remain...

A quick update: I visited the AKL, briefly, on March 9, and I can tell you that all three CDs are now playing as one long loop (as no doubt originally intended). I was lucky enough to be there a couple/few songs before Disc 2 transitioned into Disc 3 instead of repeating. I did not have the time (or the desire!) to see if Disc 1 was also playing, but I'm going to assume that it was, and that the hotel has been converted from CDs to digital.

For some reason, track 29 on the playlist appears to be missing. The song in question is called Ndje Mukanie by Zap Mama, and can be found on Disc 3 of the Mega Africa compilation. That track has been playing in the lodge since 2002; it has not been added recently.
