    DLP 10th Anniversary Theme Song

Yep. It's the first track on "L'Album Anniversaire", now available at DLP.

    MagicTrips Radio RETURNS August 12

Woo-hoo!!! That's some great news! :D I was pretty bummed when MagicTrips went off the air a couple months ago--good to hear they'll be back.

Nancy Sinatra - California Girl CD?

I know the CD (well, the US version anyway) is for sale at DCA...but I have no idea if/where the music is used in the park. She doesn't sing any of the BGM tracks anywhere, and I don't know where else her songs would be used.

    Bad Disney Music

Heh...now you know how I felt when I dissed "Feed the Birds"! :) Actually, your division between "truly bad" and "can't stand to listen to" makes a lot of sense. Even after all my griping about it, I'd put "Feed the Birds" definitely in the latter category--it's not a "bad" song, just really...

    Bad Disney Music

I think I'd really like to hear "Disney Handbells". Once. Just to see what they could have possibly done. And then never again. :) It's funny seeing Oliver brought up--I recently dug up that CD for something, and remembered how much I enjoyed both "Good Company" and "Why Should I Worry?"...

    Disneyland Resort/DCA Music

DCA's got some "great" area music loops, no? I believe most, if not all, of the lists you're looking for have already been posted under the "Disneyland Music Loops" thread. Not all are complete, of course, but I think that's the best info the board collectively has at this point. Enjoy!

Attention: Owners of Tokyo Disneyland Small World CD

I guess it's just me. :( Maybe I actually have a bad physical disk or something. I've tried playing it on my PC--just flat out doesn't work--and on both CD players I've tried, I get random long pauses every now and again between tracks. Of course, this would happen on a disk I can't just...

Attention: Owners of Tokyo Disneyland Small World CD

So, we all know the new copy protection is on the TDL Small World CD. I'm curious what people's experiences are with the CD. I've not yet gotten to play it straight through once yet without getting *huge* pauses between tracks. Of course, on this CD, since it's supposed to be a seamless...

    Bad Disney Music

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning all slow music, or even all sappy music. I've just never been a fan of that particular song--and I know it's not always the safest thing to admit in a group of Disney music fans. :) You mentioned Mancini by name--first thing I thought of is how much I...

    Bad Disney Music

It's way too slow, way too sappy, puts me to sleep better than "Stay Awake"...glad for Walt that he liked it, but it's never been one of my faves either.

    2001 Epcot Entrance Loop

Yes! Absolutely correct! I think we're all on the same page now. And now that we've nailed that down, if anyone has a recording of that Millennium loop, please feel free to contact me immediately. :)

    Light Magic ?

Darn, I hate it when facts get in the way of my faulty memory. :) I'm way too lazy to get my video of LM out, so I'll totally take your word for the intro as you described it. I was sure, though, that they still added more as the summer went along. Specifically, I seem to remember Mickey...

    Light Magic ?

The narration actually changed through the course of the summer. There started out being very little (if any), which could be why there's none on the CD. Then, as Disney realized people weren't following the storyline, they added some explanation of what was going on. It's been a while...

    2001 Epcot Entrance Loop

Ok, now *I*'m confused again. :) I thought they were still using the 2001 loop. If it's gone...what's playing now?

    2001 Epcot Entrance Loop

That loop was the "millennium" loop...played 10/1/99ish to sometime early 2001, when they replaced it with what's being described as the 2001 loop. It's not the same as the original '82 one.

    Disneyland Anniversay CD Box Set

Re: the song per year...it is funny to go back and look at the 40th anniversary cards and see what they had to resort to for some of those "nothing going on" years...when the highlight is "Matterhorn Enhancements" or the like, you know you're in trouble. :) For 1985, though--State Fair was...

Everyone needs to own the "Small World" Tokyo Disneyland CD!!!!

I've only ever been to Switzerland once, and that was an exceedingly brief visit to a town on the other end of a lake that's shared with Italy...but as I understand the language thing, you hit the nail square on the head.

    Epcot 2000 Entrance Music

Ah, well--that does answer a question that I'd been having, at least. I've been looking for a copy of the 2000 Entrance Loop, hoping that even if I could only find a recorded copy, I could use that as a guide to re-create a better quality version from stuff that's commercially available. Since...

    Electrical Water Pageant ?

Last time I stayed at a MK resort was Wilderness Lodge, and I don't remember them playing any of the music inside--you had to be outside to hear it. Of course, you had to be outside to really see it, anyway, so that kinda makes sense.

Or maybe Disney realizes that a collectibles show has a much more obvious natural audience on the Home Shopping Network...gee, what a thought...
