i hope someone listens to this

You're right--I don't know what any of that is doing here either. In this particular instance, this was the thread on top, so instead of posting the same question in each of those threads, I was hoping one reminder might suffice.

And what does this have to do with music?

    Sonny Eclipse?

Are you talking about Tony Solaroni, in TDL's pizza restaurant in Tomorrowland?

    Space Mountain Music Question

Just out of curiosity, what was this? Was this an actual song, or piece of music, or was it just a sound-effect type of thing? (I'm imagining a siren, "wee-oh, wee-oh")

    Fantasmic Loop :)

Awesome info there, Kirsten! Just curious--do you (or anyone else, for that matter) have even a live recording of the un-identified songs? That might help people place the particular versions of the ones that are missing. Scott

    Kitchen Kabaret Lobby Music...

Don't have an exact answer on the Mr. Mayo question, but this topid did come up previously on some other Disney board. At that time, the best we could figure out was...somewhere between Dec. 92 and Sept. 93. The only evidence we found for this was a Usenet post by someone in Sept. 93...

NEW TDR CD: Treasures of Fantasy

Hey Joe...fantastic news! Is it a limited edition thing, or will it still be available if I were to visit the resort, say, for the anniversary in April? :) And out of curiosity, what is that next to the CD set in your picture? It's also labeled "Treasures of Fantasy"...looks like it could be...

    The Music Man

I know I'm gettng a bit OT from the Disney version, but since you mentioned the Bierko version--I *didn't* care for it for the very same reason that you liked it--he was just doing his Robert Preston imitation. If that's what I wanted, I'd listen to/watch the original. I'm very glad Broderick...

    The Music Man

Yeah, I really liked it. It's hard not to compare it to the original film, which was *so* good, but if you can look at this on it's own merits, it's quite good as well. I had bought the soundtrack last week, and will definitely grab the DVD as well.

    Just a fun picture!

I'm guessing that's bodysuit waddle...even fairies get cold, I'm sure.

    20,000 Leagues DVD

Eh, who cares what they call it? I'm just thrilled the movie is out in a quality release. Let 'em call it the "Cheesy 50's Disney Live-Action Stuff" for all I care--what does it matter?

    Tokyo Disney Sea

I know I'm the biggest whiner about people checking the archives before making a post, but I'm breaking my own rules here--didn't we plan out *exactly* this sort of thing for Disneyland's 50th? A 2-CD, 50 track set with one piece of music from each year of the park? Man, if the US parks...

Parades and Shows in the parks

There were definitely two different songs used in the parade. As it traveled to and from each show stop, they played "Just Can't Wait to Be King", and then each of the four show stops was performed to "Circle of Life".

    Forum organization

Y'know, this forum is a great source of information--I've learned a ton about Disney music from the other posters, and I hope I've been able to contribute at least a tiny bit to the vault of knowledge here. Lately, however, it feels as if the vast majority of posts are people whining about...

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at DCA

Hyperion Queue loop You actually can search old posts using the keys above...searching for "Chitty" found this list (which I had posted some time ago): Love is a Many-Splendored Thing Guys & Dolls Dr. Doolittle[?] Chitty Chitty Bang Bang The Sound of Music [?] Damn Yankees The Wizard of Oz The...

    OT-Persistence of Vision

Yes, life changes, but if your life is going to change so much that you are going to abdicate your responsibility to people who have, in good faith, given you money for a product, you owe it to them to at least keep them informed of the situation, if not offer a refund. I'm assuming the...

    WDW Christmas Filming

Woo--very cool. I stopped by the MK that morning, and saw the filming going on...thought about staying for a bit, but I had already promised a friend I'd meet him for lunch at Epcot, so I didn't stick around. Besides, I look bad enough in real life, the last thing I need to do is be caught on...

    Playlist Sunshine Plaza

"Feels Alright" is played during the rope-drop announcement at DCA, and as far as I know, that's it. I think one of the other times this came up, someone also said it was played at the Grand Opening festivities last year, but I'm not certain of that.

Of course, it's available for purchase on the Disney's California Adventure official album.

    L'Album Anniversaire: Sold Out!

Really? Yikes...that seems so unlike them. I've only been to DLP once, but when I was there they were pretty good about having older CDs, and having darn near everything in stock. In fact, the only thing I wanted that I couldn't find (well, besides a NTSC park video :-P) was the old Buffalo...
