I can't believe I forgot to put in:

The new version of "One Little Spark" with Figment and Eric Idle. The new version is nice and bouncy; I love the version that they do at the end when Idle's face is in the moon, and the slow version with the heavy beat as you leave Figment's house and head back to the Imagination Institute. I'm sure we would end up with a medley a la Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, but even this would be nice.

Sharon, I'm in New Jersey, right across the way from NYC. The city is pretty barren still too...even Central Park's trees...There is green grass though!

But Mike, was it the same "Feel the Magic" used at EuroDisney/DLP?

-Sharon-

My dearest Sharon--

No. (I can just hear you singing under your breath "Neener, neener, neener" as you typed that! ::)

(who has eaten 6 cherry tomatoes and 2 regular-sized tomatoes from her tomato plants. And 4 strawberries from her strawberry plants. So far. So how much snow ya still got, hmmm?)

Yeah, (I hear that "neener, neener, neener" again! ) we still got some small pockets of snow that refuse to melt for one reason or another. But, it WAS in the high 70s here in upstate NY today. I think we have completely turned the corner..... Oh, hmmmm. The five-day forecast doesn't really look that good after all. :-

Ben-

I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Staten Island, before I moved to FL in 2000. My husband grew up in Linden and my in-laws still live there. So I know for a fact that you are getting weather in the 80's today (with predicted "back into the 40's" in a day or two). So much for those daffodils!

PS (for Mike, Ben and all the rest of the Yankees up north) SoCal - 70 and always low humidity, Sharon ... was the sweat running down your back while you were tomato picking? Or were you just running from the AC in the car into your AC house and grabbed what you could from the sweltering vine? Not hot enough yet? Just wait, In my experience (having lived in FL) there are only 2 seasons SUMMER and rain.

the neener thing was just to hard to read, IMHO

Jeff-

Do you mean the dog howling? That's what they (sometimes) play at WDW...and I can probably get a copy of that for you.

FWIW, currently 78 here, humidity's fine. And what's that? No earthquakes in FL? Terrific!

-Sharon-

ahem .. Sharon it's a Haunted Mansion not a kennel.
Its definitely a howling ghost, wailing spirit etc.

An mp3 would be nice.

J
And no earthquakes. Heard from (Hurricane) Andrew lately?

Isn't the Wail heard outside the Mansion just one of the many recorded for and played inside? I heard it last week and my impression was "Oh I recognize that." Being from CA I remember it from the Corridor of Doors I believe. I could be wrong. If it was used it may be on the Mansion's 30th Anniversary Disc, amid other random sounds.

Jeff-

I write on another BB that is chock-full of HM experts. As much as y'all know about Disney Music, they know about the HM . I asked them and will let you know the response.

Hurricanes are predictable. Can't run fron an earthquke.
What was that line I use? Oh yeah. Neener, neener, neener!

Oh Jeff!!!

From my Haunted Mansion BB (where I'm known as GeekyDweeb):

Hey, GD!
It was also sampled for the Monorail Playset HM...
Definately a wolf howl...

Now, I'm still going to ask for an mp3 for you, because I love you dearly and appreciate the old days when you used to post April Fool's Day stories for us. But keep in mind it's a wolf. Not a ghoul. Not a ghost. A wolf. Which is, as we all know, cousin to the dog.

Ahem. [glow=red,2,300]Neener. Neener. Neener.[/glow]

Mike-

You (Actually,) should (now) see (you) what (have) the (seen) messages (what) looked (it) like (looks) when (like.) I (It's) REALLY (not) used (hard,) to (just) write (very) between (time) the (consuming) lines.

I would write whole e-mails like that .

BTW to Jeff, I got another e-mail about the howl:

Far as I know/can tell, the howl (at least on the inside of the attraction) is supposed to be originating from the skeletal hound located off to the left side of the doom buggy between the graveyard band & the ghosts on the seesaw (blink & you'll miss him).

Person in question also sent a .wav file of it, if you want that. but since I already sent you an mp3, I'll wait til you say yes or no.

-Sharon-

As Bill Murray said in Ghostbusters: "Ok.. so .. she's a dog" [ wolf in this case] I can be wrong about WDW, this once. 8) Thanks for the mp3. I guess everything was just a little spookier when I was 12. :-[Thanks XS for the info and to the other folks that cleared up this little matter for my inner child. It is on the HM sound effects selections too. Thanks again.

Jeff
