Hey, did anyone else notice a several-page-abscence of WDWGuy? Is he staking out the WDW Distribution center or something?

He's probably hiding outside of Bruce Boughton's house, sifting through his garbage, hoping to find tossed cue sheets for hush-hush Disney projects. ;)

actually ive been busy lately my cat had a life threatening illness and my mom is disabled and had doctor appointments i had to take her to and i had to run errands and go grocery shopping and pick things up for my trip on may 1 - 4 when i go to wdw, etc...

Hey Guys,

Have we established what the Disneyland album's tracklist looks like yet? After 19 pages of posts, it's difficult to know lol.

I was one of the lucky ones to have bought the WDW album, however the second disc is faulty, I went back to return it the next day and inevitably there were none there (there were only two on the shelf when I bought it), they told me to hold onto it because they had no idea when the CDs would be back in stock, but I was also informed that the CD would be available globally at WDW from May.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a super magical day!

Just curious, what was wrong with disc 2?

Regarding DL, we are still waiting for jerm to find his CD and post the tracklist. I think he only found the front cover, but then lost it again (apparently).

I got my WDW Four Parks cd last week, my Tokyo Disneyland Jubilation CD was just shipped today, and I'm still waiting on Disneyland's OA to be considered "in stock" so I can get it from down the block. :p Silly internet age.

Hi!

My second disc (apart from the disappointing Seas with Nemo medley - sorry!!!), was scratched several times. I'm not a huge fan of cardboard box sleeves for Disney Albums as there is far to much wear and tear and the discs become loose inside the sealed case even before opening, same thing happened to my DL Happiest Homecoming On Earth CD.

I look forward to finding out the exact tracklist for the new DL album (and hope the artwork is better than last year's). On the WDW album, I was most impressed with Spaceship Earth and Canada (due to the inclusion of some of the incidental instrumental themes used before the actual Canada theme). And the CTX theme is longer on this album than the previous, am I right?

Almadot, do you work at WDW or a local? I always find it weird posting on here, as I have probably encountered a lot of people unconsciously, either at WDW or DLRP.

Have a fabulous day peops!

NowI work and am extremely local to DLR so was just being sarcastic that I'd received or had shipped my new cds from both florida and japan but still can't get the one from the place that's across the street from me :p

almandot where were you today, because the music shop was full of the new album! There were also some copies in the Storybook store in the Emporium. I figured for sure you'd gotten one. Don't worry though I don't think there's a chance of running out soon.

Ok, I guess I have to ask- what is CTX?

By the way, and I realize a couple of you might already be working on this, but could somebody post tracklistings from either album and detail/review the new/modified tracks? I won't be able to get my hands on the DL album until May, and I might have to break down and order the WDW version sometime when I can justify the expense.

CTX = Countdown to extinction

And XS-Tech I'll go today. I was waiting for Tuesday cuz it wasn't worth checking every single day over heh.

Everyone will have their own opinion, but to me, the Spaceship Earth score, the O'Canada load music, and the expanded CTX Theme (i.e., the interior BGM to Dinosaur at the Animal Kingdom) was well worth the $25 investment. The Reflections of China suite is also real nice, but I prefer the complete score which was released on a promo CD.

Well, I just got off the phone with DelivEars and was able to order one. The thing is, that I called and spoke to a woman who had no idea there was a new one. She took down my number and told me she would check. I described it to her and made sure it was easy for her to track down. I got disconnected, and waited a few minutes to call back. Spoke to a different woman who knew of the new one, and she put me on hold to look. She came back after a few minutes and had found one for me. So, it's being shipped and the postage is cheaper than WDW's too. I asked her specifics to make sure it was the right one, and she confirmed it. Meanwhile, the other woman called me back and left a voicemail stating she couldn't find anything like that, and would keep checking but didn't seem too optimistic. I guess it's all in who you talk to over there??

Amazing how it didn't come out on a tuesday.. almost as if it was already allowed to be released and they didn't put it on the shelf for some reason ;)

I'm just finishing up some pancakes I made for myself and then I'll hop over and grab it.

I've read in a few places how the SSE score is the complete score for the attraction, but I don't think so. I have ridden it many times before the OA came out, but could not get the music stuck in my head. After getting familiar with the score on the OA, and riding the attraction now, I can say that we got much of the score, but not all of it.

My favorite part of the score is the Industrial Revolution theme, which is much harder to hear in the ride. For example, one of the newer scenes (with the scientists in the big computer room) uses that same theme, but played in a techno style with a series of computer beeps. The album version jumps from the turn of the century scenes to the "matrix number tunnel" sequence. There was also a small piece from the decent that is not included on the OA track.

Well, even the woman (who's name turned out to be Gayle) who didn't know about the OA, just called me back again to say that she was finally able to track it down. So, it does look like it's finally making it's way into the resort and should be able to be found more easily now.

Correct, it is not the "compete" score. WDWGuy08, you better start a new petition.
