I had some "hands on" experience last week at TDL in regards to this set. It comes nicely packaged and it comes with two handsome books, one has lyrics of the songs and the other is a pictorial/informational retrospective of the attraction, parade, and show music from the last 20 years.
The only complaint as you all know is the inclusion of so many tracks that we have already gotten, but the set also does have some nice little things in it (such as park atmosphere music and other cuts) that i personally haven't collected yet. With a price at almost 29,000, i decided to pass for now and think it over.
The last cd did sell me on the idea of buying it. It's titled TDL Musical Walking Tour, and it offers a wonderful sampling of the best entertainment performers found around TDL. The icing on the cake comes with the inclusion of park atmosphere sounds that blend one track with the other, giving the listeners an almost realistic feeling of "being there". Simply awesome. This is one cd i wish they had sold separately, and is also the only cd from the set available for listening at the Storybook Store listening station.
Other than that, i can't offer an opinion. But I may end up buying this set down the road when the time i$ right.
