To Joe
Thanks for the information.
From a track list of CD 11 on this website, I understood this was the CD about which you had told me at TDL last July.

Boy, after having gone through the entire track listing for all 11 CD's, it's disappointing how much old stuff there is. There really isn't anything that hasn't been made availible on previous Tokyo Disney Resort CD's except for CD # 11 which is all music from the various entertainers around Tokyo Disneyland.

The Tokyo DisneySea CD is especially a letdown since is the exact same CD as the TDS Music Album with DisneySea Symphony tacked on.

There is no new attraction music (no Visionarium or Micro Adventure). There is stuff on the set to encompass the years since the last Treasures of Fantasy set, but nothing out of the ordinary. No Halloween parade, no Christmas Electrical Parade, or anything of the kind.

Oh well. I will still buy this set, I'm just not as excited about it as I was.

Steve, you can translate the page with AltaVista's Babel Fish Translation Service from Japanese to English. Although this is not the best way, at least you will get an indication of what's on it. I too am disappointed with the material that's on it. They could at least have included the Tokyo Disney Resort Theme Song: "This is the Place" which you can hear on http://bb.goo.ne.jp/special/B-BAT/disney/. I think we can expect the same thing with the upcoming the "Tokyo Disneyland History Best 1983-2003" CD that will be released on March 26. :'(

Oh well, at least TDR is releasing at lot of new material through the year on separate CD's, so in my opinion we shouldn't complain. :)

No, I had to translate it all. But since I'm sort of familiar with the way the Japanese word things, I figure things out easily (like Michee Mouth...). I also find Babel fish to be a crappy translator. I used another one, but I don't have the link to it at the moment.

Bill, all of the BGM is still on the set, however its all EXACTLY the same as the original set. They didn't switch out any of the BGM for new stuff. I wish they had...I wouldn't mind so much if they mixed up the BGM a little...since there is SO much to cull from!

Cool! There is mail order available now then. Thanks for the link Yoshi! And Ben, thanks for posting the rest of the track listings. I was going to do it but I am in the middle of a business trip and hardly have time to come online here. I'll be ordering the CD set anyway although a lot of the material has already been released previously. Later guys and gals.

Would anyone be able to answer the following question for me?

On Volume 2 "Feel The Magic", the track listings for Feel The Magic are different from those in the "15 Years of Magic " 4 CD- Box set. Here is the "Treasure of Fantasy" listing:

Feel the Magic
10. Disney Magical Dream (Feel the Magic) Opening
11. Color of the Wind
12. Lion King Medley
13. Friend Like Me
14. Part of Your World
15. Be Our Guest
16. Villain Medley
17. Disney Magical Dream (Feel the Magic) Finale

The "15 Years of Magic" track listing is:
Feel The Magic
6. Disney's Magical Dreams (Feel The Magic)
Be Our Guest
Maleficient Theme
Poor Unfortunate Souls
Jafar Theme
Prince Ali

The "15 Years of Magic" track is 14:29.

Can anyone tell me the track length of the "Treasures of Fantasy" "Feel The Magic" songs? And, are the lyrics of the "Feel The Magic" theme sung in both American AND Japanese? I have been desperate for an All-English version of this since I heard used in a WDW 25th anniversary forecourt show called "Ears To You" -- a tribute to park-goers for their 25-years of support.

For me, "Feel The Magic" is one of the all-time great park themes. Right up there with "Remember The Magic" from the 25th Anniversary Main Street afternoon Parade.

ANY information from you guys and gals would be greatly appreciated. ;)

Mike, I can answer your question.

The Treasures of Fantasy "Feel the Magic" is the entire show. What was presented on the 15 Years of Magic set is just highlights from the show.

The "Villains Medley" may explain some of the tracks from the 15 Years of Magic set...

"Villain's Medley" =
Maleficent's Theme
Poor Unfortunate Souls
Jafar Theme
Prince Ali
Disney's Magical Dreams(Feel the Magic)

The entire "Feel the Magic" show is 28:07, and the show is presented in English and Japanese, and there is not a complete English version of "Disney's Magical Dreams" sung in the show. It would be nice to have the WDW version though...

Hi, could anyone post the lyrics of "Feel the Magic" (English version)? I have never heard of it before???... thanks in advance. - Matt

another request...

hmm, I'm probably going to order the set in a few weeks (I have to wait for my financial situation to clear up a little first), but I was wondering if anyone could already send me a good quality mp3 of "West of the Wide Missouri" from the Westernland BGM? A friend of mine has been looking for that track for ages.

And does anyone know if "Feel the Magic" is related to the DLP version of the same name?

Thanks,

David

David, as far as I know TDL's "Feel the Magic" and DLP's "Feel the Magic" are not related since the music is completely different. Also, I believe TDL's "Feel the Magic" is from 1995 and DLP's "Feel the Magic" from 1992.

Mark is correct. "Feel the Magic" from TDL and DLP share the same name only. The shows are nothing alike. DLP's was more like the old "Disneyland/World is Your Land/World" shows than anything else. TDL's was the follow-up to "One Man's Dream".

Now that I think about it, I don't remember DLP's "Feel the Magic" even having that saying in the show at all. I could be wrong, but I don't think they actually said it anywhere. In fact, they re-used the verses from "We've Just Begun to Dream" song from EPCOT and added a new chorus to it.

ok, thanks Mark and Ben! Just wondering...

As far as I know, the words "Feel the Magic" were never used in the show itself, but the English CD release used them as part of the chorus for the show's theme song ("Euro Disneyland - feel the magic...").

Now, if anyone could help me out with "West of the Wide Missouri"...? ;) I'm willing to swap a DLP file for it...

David
