Disney to remake Sorcerer's apprentice

OK everyone, this thread's officially gone off the deep end....I'm grabbin' my sorcerer's hat, and as the King of the Delta Blues once said, "I Believe I'll Dust My Broom".....no wait, that's it, that'll be the theme song(done hip-hop style, of course) for Sorcerer's Apprentice 2.....Mickey gets himself lost way down in the spooky old Mississippi Delta swampland(after escaping from the Haunted Mansion, of course), and meets up with the devil, played by none other than Chernabog(get that neat Fantasia tie-in??!!? Cool, huh?) at the crossroads, and then.....we'll save the rest for that lunch date, Bill--cappucino's on me! Mike.

Snow Queen?

Ooooops. I meant Snow Witch. One time when we were at WDW, the "evil doer" from Snow White...you know, the "bad lady"...she gave us her autograph--as I think most evil people like to do when walking through popular Florida amusement parks--and she signed it "Snow Witch". First time I had ever heard that. Sorry for the confusion.

I saw Jafar...

sign this little girls autograph book at WDW.

He put a little heart over his name.

When the same little girl was having the evil queen sign her book, I said "Evil Queen...she is truly the fairest of them all", and she looks at this little girl and said"she doesn't have the face for it...I don't feel threatened at all."

Excellent! ;)

One time...talk about a meandering thread....my family and I were at the open plaza in the world showcase between the two ferry boat landings and they were having a huge character meet-and-greet (they drove up in the double decker bus). With characters galore, camcorder and camera working overtime, my two kids were dutifully meeting characters, getting autographs, and having pictures taken. The character of the Snow Hag from Snow White snuck up on my wife from behind and scared the ---- out of her! All captured on video, of course. As we then continued to make our way around to all the different "stations" of characters, darned if the hag didn't go out of her way to sneak up on a wife a few more times--each time with the desired effect!

Great, great stuff. And I know so many of us have a kajillion similar stories of WDW/DL experiences. They seem so much more worthy of discussion than Jungle Book 2 or a remake of Sorceror's Apprentice, eh? ::)

"The Disney Bible Princesses CD"

For Mike, Bean, Bill and Sharon, :'(

Cheer up Sunday School fans! Just when you thought Christendom's greedy marketing in Bible book stores couldn't stoop lower, they are shown the true light with Disney's redundant Think Tank Marketing Department!

Just out "The Disney Bible Princesses CD"

-Jasmine(as Eve) sings - "A Hole New World" in a toe tapping montage of Genesis Chapter One.(She also does a sllightly different version of "Eating the Peach" from James and the Giant .. you know)
-Belle as (as Dinah) Sings "Be Our Guest" to the local Philistine Boys.
-Alladins Mom (originally cut from the film)sings "Proud of Her Boy" (as young Samuels mother).
-A new and slightly scatologic/flatulent version of "Colors of the Wind" is sung by King Eglon's concubine played by Pocahontas.
-"God Help The Outcasts" is sung by Esmerelda in a made-for-her role as Rahab the harlot".

-"I'll make a Man out of You" is sung by Mulan (to Samson)as Delilah.
-"Can You feel the Love Tonight" is remade by Nala as Bathsheeba. (The murderous overtones of Saul and David and Simba & Scar are yet to be exploited in a further release)
-Julie Andrews makes a guest appearance as an Angelic messenger singing "Stay Awake" to Jesus disciples on the night of his betrayal.
- and Aurora Returns to her role singing a new version of "Once Upon a Dream" to Daniel and Nebuchadnezzer and then reprises it for the Apostle John as "Once Upon a Revelation".
_________________

If this proves succesful a version of Kaa singing Trust in Me" in Genises chapter 3 for the "Disney's Bible Villians" can't be to far behind.
no?
maybe .."The second Star To The Right" by the 3 magi in Luke?(popularly confused as "3wise men")????
.................

Now go get your Bible story books dust them off and get some of these zingers
.. they are really funny..
really..
[and I was thinking who better than Disney to take a bad idea and make it worse?]

Jeff in a Religous fervor ;)

[handwriiten note on Memo by M.E. "Great work guys - Get God to sign off on the direct to video rights and do not give more than 3% gross. Remember its just like my bio says .. "The greatest thing we have to offer is the Disney brand" and I dont care who the real talent behind a story is! Let's make sure we don't tarnish the brand name with a lame deal ..er I mean production.
.. and see if we can get some no name talent to sing some of these roles.. and record it in Britain to avoid the Unions.."

Yeah...isn't Hawaii beautiful? Joe and I went there on our honeymoon last year. First trip for both of us (not as easy for right coasters to get there as you left coasters). We're seriously thinking that when we go to Japan in 2005, to stop off in Hawaii for a few days.
