Disney Music Convention November 2006

lol Bill ;D

Is there an official site about this convention? This is one I would love to attend. I have family in Tacoma.

Working on it! Not sure if it will be on NFFC site or stand alone yet.

I'm looking at booking my flight for this since I'll be using free flight credits (must book early). I need to decide whether to fly back Sunday morning or Monday morning. Sunday would be preferable since then i don't have to take an extra day off work. I understand that there is a meeting with Marni that day... are there other events planned or anticipated for Sunday as well? I see that Sunday is the "official" opening day. Will attendees of the Friday/Saturday events have a chance to view the exhibit before Sunday?

Also... a number of posts back, there was the suggestion of a Disney artists performance showcase -- that would be really neat! Any chance of that happening?

Thanks,
Trent

Trent, you do not want to miss Sunday! We are looking to do a "Strictly" Disneyana sale in the morning and then more presentation panels in the afternoon. The exhibit will open exclusively for convention guests on Saturday (with a party!) and the general public on Sunday.

Also we have blocked rooms at the Hampton Inn at special rate for Friday and Saturday (3-4 Nov). It is the closest hotel and we will have a welcome room there also! - Just mention "NFFC Music Convention at the EMP"

Haven't been around much lately 'cause life's been a bit insane, but I recently decided to move back to Seattle. I'm thrilled that I'll now have a chance to go to this convention! Is there any process set up for registration yet, or are we still waiting on that?

Registration form will be up shortly ( this week ). Just working out some final details of the form. I will post link here.

Thanks,
Ken :)

Ken, when you post the link, please post it as a new thread. I will make it a sticky so that it remains at the top.

I've booked my flight for this trip - hopefully others from our community will be able to attend as well.
