    OT: Gina Lola Digital ???

Mark- What's the girl's name? First and last, if you have access to it. That might help in the investigative process, since everyone who works in Entertainment at WDW knows everyone else who works in Entertainment at WDW . You can send it as a private message, if you want. -Sharon-

    OT: Gina Lola Digital ???

s8ntmark- Methinks you need to lay off the mushrooms for a while . I know of one person, possibly two, who worked as Streetmosphere-type characters at Epcot around that time frame. I can ask one via e-mail and one in person and I'll get back to you, OK? -Sharon-

    OT- Hurricane Frances

Robert- I'm in Hunter's Creek. During Charley we apparently had microbusts so we had a LOT of damage then....more trees (laurel oaks in particular) down than up. This time, except for the shingle situation, we have very little damage. I ordered a color battery-operated TV and a weather radio...

    OT- Hurricane Frances

I hear that Pleasure Island is closed tonight too, Tommy? For the most part, it's over, though we're still getting outer bands of Frances every few hours. Some of them are strong but not too bad. Sun isn't out yet but that'd be asking for a LOT today, I think . Grateful that we never lost...

    OT- Hurricane Frances

Just checking in...4,000,000 people in FL don't have electricity but we're not one of them (yet)...so here I am. The storm is just awesome. I love weather and am a little bit of a risk-taker (I'm the one who went RIGHT to the edge of the Grand Canyon...the part without the safety bar) so, of...

    OT- Hurricane Frances

I'm with you, Tommy. Our "fort" (safe hallway with mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc.) is all ready but not even close to a need to use it. Yet. I'd prefer to keep it that way . Think I'm gonna hit the hay soon, so I can wake up early enough to watch the storm tomorrow. Just like I did...

Off Topic - I survived Charley. On Topic - So did my Disney CDs <G>

Log: 9:44pm. Frances still hasn't hit land and although 2,000,000 Floridians have lost power (mainly on the coast), we haven't. Yet . -Sharon-

Hi Mike- Oh, we're here...hunkerin' down and waiting for Frances to hit hard. Right now we're getting bands of weather every few hours and it should be getting worse and worse. We've got our supplies and our 'safe room" (well, hallway). Pippi the 14y/o (very healthy) poodle is wondering why...

Why doesn't anyone use CD Protection methods?

Hubby and I are "making the switch" and buying Macs this fall/winter so thanks for the heads up, Bill. Any other Disney Cds I need to NOT put into my computer, off the top of your head? -Sharon-

    TDL's Haunted Mansion Holiday CD?

    > Hey guys, could someone fill me in--is this > the first year Haunted Mansion Holiday is > happening at TDL? Yes. And depending on who you listen to, it's because WDW either didn't want HMH or dragged its feet on its decision to get it...but I believe that the general concensus is that TDL is...

    Disneyland shows filmed for posterity

I'm thinking that during my very first trip to WDW (Feb. 1979) they were selling filmstrips for 8mm, 16mm, and Super 8 projectors. I'm specifically thinking I remember one for CBJ...though it's been a LOT of years and we didn't buy any, so I'm not if what I THINK I'm remembering...I'm actually...

I found some old disney records!!!! - LONG POST

Actually, record players are a little easier to find nowadays. If you aren't in the market for "audiophile" types, you can find them (camoflauged as early-20th-century radios) at a lot of places nowadays. -Sharon-

Off Topic - I survived Charley. On Topic - So did my Disney CDs <G>

I'll tell ya Mike...when we had 5' high piles of tree branches on everyone's easements, it was very much like NY streets after a blizzard. And when I was shoveling millions of oak tree leaves (14 BIG bags' worth), I DEFINITELY used my "snow shoveling" experience to work! I'll stick to FL...
