Tokyo Halloween 2007 Information

Kinda on topic with the offtopic topic. I picked up the new High School Musical 2 soundtrack today. I was never a huge fan of the original movie or its' soundtrack. I thought it was alot better than some of the other stuff Disney Channel has done...

But this soundtrack is a huge step above what the original was. Don't knock it just yet. Give it a listen.

There is a short-term show called, "Best Shot Disney" for this year's Funderful Disney Fan Club Members Party. The revue-type song and dance show features scenes from past Disney events like "Donald's Wacky Kingdom," "Club Disney Super Dancin Mania," etc. The last scene is the "High School Musical" number. A photo I took yesterday can be seen below. I'll have more pics and video up on my site this weekend.

YES, the TDL Halloween parade starts today!!!!!!! ;D Well, technically it starts on the 12th in Tokyo at 10:00 AM, but in my time zone, the parade heads down the street at 8:00 PM tonight. I can't wait to see the video/hear the final mix of the soundtrack. I actually never got to hear the FINAL mix since they do all the final mixing and mastering in Tokyo, so technically I'll be hearing it for the first time, too! I've ordered like 12 copies of the CD for my family, but I'm afraid they won't be shipped until October. I REALLY hope I get to hear a recording before then. Okay, sorry for rambling... I'm just so excited!

october? wow. mine's shipping september 19th.

that's really disturbing you don't get a free copy of your song though :p

Yes, mine is supposed to ship on the 19th, too... but I'm still waiting on my TDL Pirates CD that was supposed to be shipped over a month ago. I probably will get a comp. copy of my Halloween stuff, but it will probably be a few weeks before I do.

There are quite a few Japanese sites I go to, plus the regulars and youtube. Don't worry, I am sure they are coming. ;)

This show is incredible!! I can't wait to see video of it. Hopefully today!! Rick you did an awesome Job. It was fun listening to it last night with you. You're a Disney Park Composer!!!!

If you don't know already, there aren't any videos because yesterday got rained out. So here's hoping for today or tomorrow :p

edit: wellp looks like the last parade of the day managed to kick off actually. joe won't be there until today and tomorrow though

Hi Guys Well here is a video of the HAUNTED ROCKIN STREET PARADE (nightime version) its so AWESOME! It looks as if Tokyo Disneyland has once outdone itself again! Rick is this the music that you composed? if so then I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It sounds to cool!. Well i cant wait to see the daytime version as well. Im sure the music is very magical!
