Suggestions for User Rankings

Please Suggest User Categories

This new board allows members to be automatically "ranked" depending on the number of posts that are made.

The default levels are:
YaBB Jr. Poster (over 50 posts): Jr. Member
YaBB Full Poster (over 100 posts): Full Member
YaBB Sr. Poster (over 250 posts): Sr. Member
YaBB God (over 500 posts): YaBB God

I'm looking for suggestions for Membership titles relating to Disney / Disney Music. What can I replace Jr. Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, God with?

Thanks for your input,
Trent

Here's a quick idea off the top of my head:

How about:

Jr. = Donald (poor Donald at the bottom again)
Full = Goofy
Sr. = Minnie
God = Mickey

I'll try to think of something else over the weekend. :D

It might be fun if we could tie in more "muscial" themed titles, and then maybe you experts could tie that to something Disney. After all, this is a Disney music forum :)

Re:please Suggest User Categories

All this new stuff and I pressed the wrong button posting this message in the wrong topic. So, here it is in the right topic.

How about an obscure Disney music reference like -

Jr. = Toot
Full = Whistle
Sr. = Plunk
God = Boom

Just a thought and a way to post on the new forum.

Everything looks great!!

Hi Everyone,

Here's maybe another idea. How about naming the rankings after musicians in Disney movies?

Here's a short list I have come up with:

o Scat Cat (The Aristocats)
o Fflewddur Fflam (The Black Cauldron)
o Sebastian (The Little Mermaid)
o Roger (101 Dalmatians)
o Allan-a-Dale (Robin Hood)

ok, maybe not a great idea but just trying to keep the ball rolling.

whoa this looks kinda confusing. I hope I don't push the wrong button!

Personally I like Randy's suggestion. It isn't *that* obscure is it?

I think Randy's idea is perfect! It's kind of obscure but any real Disney fan should get it. And just the fact that there are four of them - the same as the number of categories needing names! Toot just sounds junior and Boom just sounds -- well, like God! Thanks Randy! I'm going to implement it now.

And don't worry everyone, if I ever get back the archives, I'll review the number of posts you all have made and will update your status.

Okay,

So here's what I've set up...

If you have up to 10 posts your status will be "Earning My Ears."

If you have over 10 posts your status will be Toot
If you have over 50 posts your status will be Whistle
If you have over 100 posts your status will be Plunk
If you have over 250 posts your status will be Boom

Depending on how the activity of the boards changes over the coming months, the number of posts to reach a level may change.

Trent, when I saw you chose the categories Randy suggested, I was suddenly transported
to a time LONG ago when I got my first Disney Soundtrack "LP" Music How Its Made and
Played - was that what it was called ??? Wore the record down
to the grooves on the other side. Glad your board is back; got the
shock of my life last week when I got a directory listing with a bunch of Perl scripts!

Thanks for posting a JPEG of the four "sounds" Trent! Brought back more memories.

Just a note for the members of this board, the entire animated short is available as a bonus feature on the Fantasia 2000 DVD -- at least the one in the 3 disc boxed set. I don't know if the single DVD has it.

I do miss the record. It had a fold-open jacket with several glossy pages with pictures from the feature.
