Wonderland Music Store is soon to be the name of the store at Disneyland that specializes in Music and Movies. They are on Main St. but do not have an outside line. I know you can order just about anything there through Disneyland DelivEars though I don't have that number....Anyone else?

Tubby's da man!

I knew it--hey Bill, I just found out Tubby's redeeming feature by looking the LP up in R. Michael Murray's book--the story is narrated by Annette.

Mike

It's more the fact that Annette's such a Disney icon than her voice specifically........and as far as her voice, it's why Tutti Camarata came up with double-tracking......

These new CD's are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS A ZILLION RANDY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contrary to the first batch, this time there doesn't seem to be a re-release, except for "Alice in Wonderland". Can someone tell me whether or not this is a re-release of the previous CD or an entirely different album ? Randy ?

They're all re-releases of LP's; Randy noted the LP catalogue numbers in his post. Alice was released originally in 1957, and features the film's music conducted by Tutti Camarata.

I'm excited, but I'm not sure how excited ;) I'm not familiar with some of the newly-available titles - are full track listings available anywhere?
Thanks.

Probably the best way to get somewhat familiar with the new and future titles is through a browse through "The Golden Age of Walt Disney Records 1933-1988" by R. Michael Murray, an indispensable cataloging of just about everything released during that time period, even on non-Disney labels; there is some additional information about some of the releases, but no track listing.

I love that book, but my one complaint is that there is not cover art and track listings for each LP. I know that would have been a ton of work, but it sure would have answered a lot of my questions about some of the releases.

The number to reach Disneyland DelivEars is (800) 362-4533.

Using this number, I just called out there and spoke to a lovely, young (both guesses on my part) woman (another guess) who claimed she has never heard of the Wonderland Music Store (is that because it is so new? or did I just "luck out" with this particluar phone rep?). She did, however, mention "CD-on-demand" several times in the conversation. Is this the same as what we're all talking about here? (i.e., does Wonderland Music = CD on-demand?) ???

Additionally, she added that, at this time, no inventory listing is available online (a brilliant marketing strategy by Disney Mgt., no doubt), so thank you to all who have been supplying the updated releases to those of us who cannot visit Disneyland.

Hey Mike,

The store is actually known as the 20th Century Music Company. Randy Thornton originally referred to the CD on demand system as the Wonderland Music Store project, which seems to have caught on as the unofficial name.

I hope that helps clear it up a little.

Thanks, Eddie, for the clarification. I still wish they'd set up a webpage for online ordering, though.

Someday, maybe. ;)

Supposedly the store is due to officially change it's name. Most of the CD's are available now. Got Tinpanorama last night, though my other first choice "Babes in Toyland" was no longer in the system. Not sure what's going on with that one.

After much delay Babes in Toyland, Ludwig Von Drake, and Peter and the Wolf are finally on the system. Yay!!!

Any chance that they will add a Wonderland Music kiosk to the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney - - for those without AP's?
