Mr. Thornton,
I am not complaining. i am just a serious disney park music collector and love all the music from the attractions and would love to own all the cues one day. i purchase every park music cd i can to support future releases. i am very appreciative and glad for what you have been able to give us over the years. i respect what you do and the decisions you make, which are always the best. please do not take what i say as a complaint or nagging, i just wish to see more music from attractions in the future.
i have a question for you: is it possible to sell "more" music from attractions that have had music released before like ellen's energy adventure, online only via the itunes music store? is it cheaper to do this? what would have to be done?
a composer i speak to said, i am a "completist". i enjoy collecting all the music from attractions at disney parks, mostly walt disney world and disneyland.
also, i know the official albums are not just for disney park music collectors such as myself, who frequently visit the world. they are for people who visit the parks once or a few times and would like to take home a memory of the overall theme of the attraction home with them. i visit the parks several times a year, in fact, i have been going since i was 1 year old, making a total of over 600 trips, since then.
i heard that intrada records was in talks with disney to get permission and rights, i guess, to release bruce broughton's park music can you either confirm or deny this? also, if you want to know how many people would buy a "Best-Of" cd of bruce broughton park music, do a survey in the parks, as guests enter the park, as they do currently, asking where you are from and your zip code etc... would that work?
btw...did you get my e-mail from cbarry.....
