Estimated Time of Completion for Beauty and the Beast Pre-Show Loop: approx. 3 years. There's a loop that plays before Beauty and the Beast that uses a lot of show tunes. You'd better get cracking on that one.
Album: Motion Picture Classics: Vol. 214. When You Wish Upon a Star
- Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, [?]
Album: Stars and Stripes: An American Concert19. Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah
- Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, [?]
Yeah, you can get the correct track from both of those albums. I guess the reason I'd held off in posting album source information is that I keep hoping I will track down an actual source circa. 1989 when the loop was installed. For example, I believe the Stars and Stripes album is a re-packaging of material. Another example would be some of the Mantovani material, which has been packaged and re-packaged over and over.thanks for the update wedroy, i love this loop!
here's what I had in my notes but I don't know how accurate they are:
Album: Motion Picture Classics: Vol. 214. When You Wish Upon a Star
- Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, [?]
Album: Stars and Stripes: An American Concert19. Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah
- Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, [?]
Has there been any more progress on this loop? On the last count, there was six left to find source CDs/LPs for.
Wedroy1923: Did you ever find confirmation as to whether a previous loop played in this area? I don't think there was, but I have no proof to back it up.
I thinks you can't find "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" in "Motion Picture Classics Vol 2"Paul said:On Arthur Fiedler's Stars and Stripes, in addition to "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" is "When You Wish Upon a Star". Is this a different version from the track on Motion Picture Classics Vol 2?
