Disneyland Forever--Back???!!!

The RedDotNet era kiosk machines were sold off long ago...
Yep, everything (touch screens, printers, burners, computers) were all removed July 29, 2002 (just in time for Print On Demand machines to be put in) and sold/scrapped/given away shortly thereafter. I believe a similar thing happened at Walt Disney World...

1313 and Jason,
GREAT!

I am hoping that you can prove my cynicism wrong and misdirected. Nothing would be better than to be surprised and pleased by the WDCo again.

It would be like going to the park and expecting Fantasy in the sky and getting Believe! or Expecting Back to the Future but having Soarin' ..

And I am most pleased to hear about the remastering. Its almost as if a familiar producer...(sigh)
I await anxiously.

Hello,
Excuse me, 1313, but what makes you so sure DL Forever tracks aren't making a comeback? You sound so sure, and yet I know otherwise...

I haven't checked in on that project lately. Perhaps you simply know more about current plans for it than I?

It certainly wouldn't surprise me to discover that was the case.

Remastered vinyl or more DL/WDW Forever audio, either is cause for major celebration on the Walt Disney music front, although I'd really LOVE to hear the old recordings in digital format without the "snap, crackle, pop" of the records(but I might miss the suspense of the first playing, and of course the inevitable--"Hey, I thought this LP was supposed to be VG+!!!").

So it seems the ol' Walt Disney Company can still pull some rabbits out of the ol' hat, despite all the mudslinging it's received as of late(much of it justified, of course)......come to think of it, the recently released Disney Treasures book/CD was also a great item, mentioned in another thread. Could there be more upcoming "magical tricks"--they wouldn't want to start a trend, or am I being too optimistic??!?!

Two other questions/comments:
--Is the Thurl Ravenscroft/Mellowmen LP, "Meet Me Down on Main Street" one of "the chosen" for the new system?
--PLEASE let WDW be blessed with it own system so those of us on the East Coast won't have to be victimized by ebay "entrepreneurs"(I'm feeling rather polite today).
