BLUE HORIZONS!

Ah, good to know it at least can be done! They're really missing the ball when they don't have strong programs like that.

I e-mailed SeaWorld over the weekend asking about mail order programs, and just got a call back from them now! The merchandise manager that I spoke to had checked and said that the release is indeed coming, and that, at least for the park here in San Diego, they're predicting it will be on shelves in 2-3 months. She was not sure if it would be released on the (admittedly) very limited shamu.com store, but she did give me her number there at work, and said that I should call her back in about three months and they would set up a mail order for me. She also gave me permission to pass the number on to anyone else that might be interested, but I'd rather not just flat out post it publically because it's a manager's work phone number, not a dedicated mail order line. But if you are interested, drop me a message. :)

I would assume that the park in Orlando can do something similar, but I do not have their contact information. :)

If anyone does not like Blue Horizons or Believe then just leave it alone. The music is great and so are the shows. It's hard enough working with animals, let alone people. Blue Horizons and Belive are taking park entertainment to a new level. Actually Busch Entertainment has produced some very nice music over the past few years. (KaTonga, Blue Horizons and Believe) Since I am in Orlando there is not too much better at the Disney parks! I would prefer to see KaTonga over Festival of the Lion King or Blue Horizons over Flights of Wonder. Appreciate the the shows for what they are!

Just been talking to a friend who was at SeaWorld San Diego last week, and she said she spotted the Believe CD in the gift shops! So it sounds like it's at least out in San Diego, not sure about the other parks yet!

The Orlando SeaWorld has all three current CDs (Mistify, Believe and Blue Horizons) but only in the main Shamu Emporium, near the stuffed animals.

Strangely, when I asked about the Blue Horizons CD in the Key West section near the show theater, no one knew anything about it there!

I thought Blue Horizons was phenomenal. I liked using the human stunts interspersed with the dolphins and the showier aspects of it.

The music is incredible, I got a little teary-eyed at the end. Have been listening to the CD nonstop.

The store also had a CD called Sounds of SeaWorld, but I didn't have time to check it out. Anyone know what that is?

All three cds are fantastic. Anyone who enjoys the music from Disney's big fireworks spectaculars will enjoy them.

I believe it's similar to the nature CDs you see at kiosks in department stores - animal sounds mixed with musical recordings. I could be wrong about that, though - that's one I haven't listened to yet.
