2001 Epcot Entrance Loop

As far as the composer/arranger of the 2001 loop, Russell Browser's name comes to mind ... I vaguely remember seeing a post somewhere (maybe one of the Epcot-related Yahoo clubs?) back when the loop was first introduced, with a track list and credit to Russell Brower. Not sure of the credibility of the source, but Brower has done quite a bit of Epcot BGM -- most notably the Innoventions loop.

Whoever the composer, they certainly borrowed a good deal from Alan Sylvestri's "Back to the Future" theme. :)

Sorry to open an old wound but did anyone ever discover who composed and arranged/orchestrated the loop?

There was a update to the 2001 version made in 2005 to add mission space and Soarin, a real nice mono recording of it can be found on Rodentsections. I'm pretty sure both 1982 and 2001 versions were composed by Russel Brower, and the 2005 additions I believe are edits of what plays in the attractions.

Edit: Oh, wow, I didn't know how old this thread was, I'm guessing everyone by now knows there was an update in 2005 :p

From the notes accompanying the 2006 OA, which includes an all-too-brief cue from the 2001 loop, we now know that the composer of the original theme (called "Legacy" on the cd) is "Woods".... the only problem is that nobody has been able to find out who this composer is other than his/her surname.

According to this thread, and from what I've been told other places, George Wilkins, et. al were the composer(s) of the 1982 Epcot Entrance Loop.
