The Brubaker original didn't have the horse. I forgot about it until it was just brought up. I never really liked the "official" version all that much, so I haven't listened to it in well over a year. Glad to hear that the ghost horse was indeed in use at one time. GG

I've never heard the horse, but then I've never been to the one in DL. I'm told it was used around the time that the CD was produced, but it never appears on any of the numerous home videos that I use for reference, even those from that time period. Hard to say what Legal would give Randy...

Just go to eBay or a thrift store and get yourself a turntable with a magnetic cartridge and that has at least 3 speeds. Dual made these kinds of turntables in the 1960s and 1970s. You can buy a new cartridge that accepts a both an Lp and 78 r.p.m. stylus if you need to. Several manufacturers...

Update: the two you mention are fan-made compilations of the bootleg tracks. The longer one (13:50) only contains portions of the Ghost Host narration recorded directly from the Doombuggies' speakers, but not all of it. Some segments are out of order as well. GG
