For everyones info, the induction from the WDW Market House phones that blm07 is referring to is the same as the older version of the DL phones. It's the woman calling Dinglinger's store. Still this is only a 3 minute or so piece, and I wonder if it was part of a longer loop.
Re: Timekeeper Score/show?
Yeah all I've ever heard of playing there was Music Makers and Sentimental Journey. Dunno if Harlem Nocturne did play there.
WDWGuy, I've seen you name specific cues from both Timekeeper and Ellen now- are these the names you've named them or did you gather them from talking to Bruce Broughton. Just curious.
Re: Timekeeper Score/show?
I've had this text file on my comp forever. I have no idea where it was first posted but I believe it's been posted here: As far as I know it's the most complete account of the whole Tomorrowland Raymond Scott fiasco. There's also commentary at the end. I don't know...
To clarify my post, yes, I was being sarcastic. I am well aware that Dave ONeal is no respecter of copyrights, and I was playing the trusting simpleton when I stated that most of the cost of his book must go towards paying the owners of the copyrighted images.
Because the buyers for Disney merch (at both parks) don't have a clue.
Now where can I get one of those "Disney Parks- where dreams come true shirts...?
I think we should start an internet trend of using a designated special color when something is meant in jest. Perhaps light green for sarcasm, hot pink for hyperbole, and cerulean for satire.
yeah the Brower composed/arranged version of Innoventions was used at the Disney Gallery as part of thier Tomorrowland Exhibit. No part of it was included in Disneyland's Innoventions. The loops that play on the "rings" (the moving portions) of Innoventions, both interior and exterior, were all...
To further expand on what wedroy said, the Innoventions music at DL blows the music at Epcot away. Buddy Baker arranged 2 versions of GBBT for each zone, one interior and one exterior. The exterior versions are bigger and bouncier, and the interior versions are slightly more subdued. They are...
Re: Timekeeper Score/show?
Ben, the scores to the 2 versions of the film are totally different. However there is a version of the WDW show that uses the DLP score. I'm not sure of it's origin but I've seen it labeled WDI Demo, and it does have slightly different versions of all the narration...
It was recorded with an Assisted Listening Device and was an attempt to get one full loop of each zone. The quality was ok- amazing considering the speakers and zones are in constant motion around you ;)
Re: Timekeeper Score/show?
No Bill, as I understand it, Disney was perfectly within their rights to play the Raymond Scott soundalike loop (by George Wilkins) as it was only a style that was emulated. They got in trouble for playing the original Scott stuff without permission. They pulled the...
Has anyone ever listened to the whole loop that plays on Disneyland's Market House phones? I'm curious if the track released on the DLF system was indeed the whole loop. I know the other Main St atmosphere tracks like the Dentist Office and Piano lesson were truncated versions of what actually...
...and that was one of the best covers. I just noticed that they used a blueprint of WDW's Castle for HKDL. Interesting since the park opened the year this came out and the final design had already been decided upon long before.
