That's my thinking as well. I'm wondering if the band organ at DLP is a functioning one? If not, then maybe DL did change to the canned version when they upgraded to the DLP ride mechanism?

I would be wiling to bet that "Walking Down the Middle of Main Street USA" was written for Disneyland's 25th anniversary in 1980. That was the first time the "Disneyland is Your Land" show appeared and it's been used in various parks ever since.
