Is the set with the Black Vinyl the "regular, non LE" version?

Yeah - I noticed my status changed from "at distribution" to "backordered" which I was expecting since the set I ordered was from the "4 weeks for delivery" group. Can't wait to get this set! Hope everyone enjoys theirs! Looking forward to hearing the comments.

Disneyland mistakenly sold like one case. The mistake was caught and all the others sets were set aside for next week. Only afew were sold.

To change topics slightly, the cd set is sold out again. It no longer pulls up in a "Disneyland" search and you can only find it when searching the 61499 item number. Even then it says "This item is not available"

I'm gonna say a little prayer for the poor cast members who are selling these at stores in the parks. It's gonna be nutty!

Well, I just went back in and placed my order via DisneyDirect again. I supposedly still have a LE set, but now it is coming in 4 weeks, not 1 week. I've printed everything, even the item description, so I have proof I ordered the LE not open edition set. Has anyone heard anymore from WDW...

Well, I just got an email saying my card was refunded because the item I ordered was no longer available when I placed my order!!!!

Maybe DisneyDirect has frozen all sales until they can see how many orders they have versus how many they have in stock. Or, maybe they will be limiting future sales to prevent people from ordering 6 and had to pull the item offline until the computer controls could be put in place. I guess...

OMG, it looks like I got in at the last minute. People ordering 6 is unecessary! EBAY scalpers! Grrrrrrrr.

I just completed my online order at 12:30pm EST. It clearly stated the LE version. I assume that DisneyDirect will pull this item as soon as the limited edition version is gone. I think all of us who have ordered on the phone or online overnight and today will get the LE version. You have...

May 2 is the launch date of the first set of Disneyland 50th items on DisneyDirect.com. So my guess is that this 6-cd set will probably show up closer to May 2 than April 25. Then again - just my guess.

I would guess the Emporium on Main Street and World of Disney at Downtown Disney would be the two most likely places to find this set at WDW.
