I've been told by some legal "wizard" on another site that by compiling playlists, we are infringing on Disney's intellectual property. Thus, I think it's time we closed up shop and went home.
I never bothered to track artist/CD information down. While I also enjoy Big Band music, the overall sound of this loop is what has me hooked. So instead of having the unprocessed "source" material, I'm content with my induction recording for this one. Without a doubt, out of all of my WDW...
I'm not sure which Official Albums you are referring to. However, the Old Betsy track that has been used on the WDW Official Albums is the same track used in the Big Thunder Mountain Queue. I believe the DLP loop uses two versions of Old Betsy, one being the same.
I should point out that a few of these tracks are also used in the (excellent) Tomorrowland loop used at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This loop is one of my favorite WDW loops. I wish it was used year round (of course, removing the unused Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade cue)...
Unfortunately, the gallery no longer uses this loop. I made a reference recording a while back and was only able to identify three songs, although there are others I wasn't able to identify at the time. If anyone is a collector of Tomita and wants to try, let me know. It's a live recording...
This is a lot to digest!
The Space Mountain com chat should be the same version used in WDW, at least dialog wise. Perhaps some of the background SFX is a bit different, but I never did a side by side comparison of the background sounds (although I have for the dialog).
Out of curiosity, what lead you to believe the music comes from this one LP? This sounds strange for me, at least for a park loop (although nothing would surprise me at this point).
