When you Wish Upon a Star

Don't know if it's available anywhere but I'm pretty sure they used this at the end of the Singalong VHS of Disneyland Fun (when Mickey holds out his arms and fireworks shoot from them)?
It's a nice version.
Hope there's a current source. I'd like it myself. ;D

This version is from the attraction Pinocchio's Daring Journey at Disneyland park. Its been released on Official Albums of the past.

The version included in the Fantasyland Darkride Suite of the current Official Album is not the same as this.

Would you happen to know which albums?
I noticed it was different from the one you mentioned.

Before that, it was released here as part of a medley:

And I have to say, that medley is one of the strangest! It's SOOO 70's/early 80's sounding it's not even funny! The big question I have though, is where the heck did that music actually play? I've never heard it in the attraction (except the When You Wish Upon a Star track). Bill, do you have any idea, since you've been to TDL in it's earlier years?

Here's a link to sound samples from "The Music of Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and EPCOT Center". It's from Henry Fink's Disney CD site.

And here's a link to the Tokyo Disneyland Music Album. It doesn't matter which one prior to the 2008 version, because they all had the same track. No, wait, the very first MA from 1985 had a longer medley with vocals, but that was edited for all subsequent releases...and disappeared altogether with the new one...anyway...

I have the worst memory for that, though the last time I went on it, which was probably back in the late 80s, it still had the funky exit music. The last couple of times I was in TDL, I was with others...none of whom wanted to see it.

So...that medley is the exit music? That would explain it. Still, I guess it was only used at TDL...unless it was in rotation at DL in it's (the attraction's) infancy. I swear I never heard it played at DL though....

So, if it's out of print now, anyone uploading it to Rodentsections (he said hopefully)?

Ben...my bad...as I was reading your post, I was listening to the Mickey Mouse Revue and someone supplanted that in my response.

Ignor it.

Well, you're excused...it's also another very 70's sounding attraction...it's kind of amazing actually that it's such a time-warp kind of thing.
