I have a friend taking a trip there in April and she'll pick up whatever I don't have for me (shipping will be cheaper then the mail order). Although I'm having a feeling, there is probably not a lot there I don't already have. ::)

So whats there? ;D

Thanks guys!

Off the top of my head:

Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams
SpectroMagic
Magic in the Streets: Disney Parade Memories (mostly outdated)
Tapestry of Dreams/Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
Festival of the Lion King
Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland
Finding Nemo: The Musical
Walt Disney World Official Album 2008 (available early April)
Music from Disney's Animal Kingdom
Holiday Wishes (Includes Jingle Jungle Parade)
Magic Kingdom Event Party Music (Pirate and Princess party, Not-So-Scary and Dream-Along with Mickey)

Other, more area-specific albums, such as:

Return2Zero (Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage pre-show, AKA Four-For-A-Dollar)
Liberty Voices/Voices of Liberty
MoRockin'
Off Kilter
Grand Floridian Society Orchestra

Fantasmic is also available
Ha! I knew I missed one.

Also, I forgot The Candlelight Processional. I suppose one could also make a case for Cirque Du Soleil, La Nouba, though it has a wide release.

Good list. When I was there last year, there was also "Pirates of Caribbean" and the "Haunted Mansion." I am assuming they are still available too. I think there is also a Grand Floridian Society Orchestra Christmas album. I saw one last year in the Christmas shop in Downtown Disney, WDW.

Does anyone know where to find the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra CD (not the Christmas one)? I was at the parks in January, but I did not see it. I looked around Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Is it in the Grand Floridian Resort?

Thanks.

It is available in the Sandy Cove shop, downstairs, at the Grand Floridian. I saw a few copies there a couple of months ago.

It is too bad you didn't ask this question earlier, as I was just there last night, and I listened to Pat and the band play for about 30 minutes -- most enjoyable! I would have gladly checked to see if the CD was still available.

I will be back there in the next couple/few days...

Jay, thank you for that information and for offering to check on the CD. I knew I should have stopped in the Grand Floridian when I was last at WDW. I just did not take the time to do it. I will be sure to look in the shop there the next time I visit. Hopefully the CD will be there.

What do you mean that you heard Pat and the band playing there the other night? Is Pat part of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra? Does the GFSO actually perform there on a regular basis?

Patrick Doyle is the band's leader. You will find him behind the drum kit sans shoes. He has been with Disney for a very long time. He used to be with the Liberty Square Fife and Drum Corps back in the good ol' days.

Yes, the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra plays every night just outside of Mizner's Lounge on the second level of the hotel lobby. The members of the band are different on various nights, though, so they don't have to work seven days a week.

Would you like me to pick up a copy of the CD for you?
