As if the Musical History of Disneyland 6-Disc Set wasn't enough...now, I'm going to have to pick up this beautifully put together WDW disc as well!

When all is said and done, I'll feel that I own stock in DLR! Sheesh...but, it's all good! :D

After reading these boards for many years as a guest, I just couldn't contain my excitement for this WDW CD any longer. ;D There are many Epcot songs that I don't have on CD, so I'm looking forward to listening to them on CD. Especially the Universe, Land, World of Motion, and Imagination tracks. Thanks to Randy for all of his efforts!

Will this version of Best Time of Your Life include all the music from the attraction (not the dialog of course)? The WDW Forever tracks did not include the final rendition with some singers that sing an R&B version in much the same vein as the pointer Sisters. Will we be able to buy this anywhere other than Disney Delivears or can we get this from Disney direct or any other online stores? And the release date please?

Jmuboy, I think people are getting this WDW OA confused with the single disc release "The Happiest Celebration on Earth". For those who are ordering the CD from Amazon.com, be aware that what you are ordering is NOT the new WDW Official Album, but a single disc version of the DL Official Album that is availible nationwide as of May 3rd. The two 2-disc Official Albums are said to be park exclusives.

So Ben, I should not feel like I am getting boned for paying DL 32.87 and WDW 35.68 for the two-disc sets? I looked on Amazon and saw that 13.99 price and groaned.

I remembered reading that Randy had stated that the DL 2 disc set would also be available as a one disc set as well. I did not see the same comment about the WDW set.

So, even though the Amazon disc has "Celebration" in the name, not "Homecoming" - you are sure it is the one disc DL set?

Thanks!

Hmmm... those two have different AISN numbers, too. Are there two slightly different versions of the CD, even if it's just a little difference in packaging or something?

Yes, Tim, I'm positive about that.

Thank you!

And with that, I shall sleep soundly tonight and I am off to bed!

Later.

Yes, there's nothing earth-shattering here, but when you're working on a once-in-a-lifetime project like the Disneyland one, something has got to go in the back seat!

And, in any case, my recordings of some of the older Epcot material go back to the original Epcot Center '83 LP--digital upgrade needed! And then there's "Planetary Boogie," a new addition, and probably our favorite Sonny Eclipse tune(missed eating with Sonny this past trip--got hooked on eating lunch at the new Noodle Station eatery in Tomorrowland).......and I also don't have "Soarin' " yet, which we were lucky enough to catch last week, before its "official" opening.........yep, I'm in on this one!

Mike

P. S. I just hope some casual park goers don't waste precious time looking for the Kitchen Kabaret--will it be clear in the CD booklet as to the "retro" nature of some of the tracks?

So is the only way to order this is to buy it through Delivears? Is it available for pre-order yet? And could someone please post the phone# for Delivears?

Hi Rob,

As I understand it - the two disc sets are park-only exclusives. Since Deliverears only handles the Disnelyland items, you can only order the DL set - "The Happiest Homecoming on Earth", not the WDW set - "The Happiest Celebration on Earth".

You can, however, order the WDW set at their order number which is 407-363-6200. I preordered it, but the lady said it would be in "any time now".

If you want to order the DL set from Deliverears, their number is 800-362-4533. This one was in stock and ready to ship when I ordered. I should have it in 8-10 business days.

Thank you very much for the tips! I didn't realize the one on Amazon was only one disc, so I cancelled it right after reading your post. I called WDW to get mine this morning. But holy cow shipping to Canada was $25!

two questions... one is, how much did it cost? and the second is, what is the official title? im so confused with people talking about all these different albums. I want to make sure that when i call they know what im talking about, and i dont order for the wrong album!

Question One - They both cost $24.95. With tax and shipping, YMMV. However, mine came to 32 and change for the DL disc set and 35 and change for the WDW set.

Question Two - They each have their own official title. The one for Disneyland is "The Happiest Homecoming on Earth" and the one for WDW is "The Happiest Celebration on Earth"

Take a look at my message above for ordering information.

Finally, be aware that the disc on Amazon.com, called "The Happiest Celebration on Earth" is actually the one disc version of the DL disc. That one you don't want to buy unless you can't get the others.

Good luck.
