Can anyone tell me a little more about the extras on the Walt Man behind the Myth DVD? From what I've read there's a short making of featurette and some extra interviews? Can anyone tell me an approximate running time for the extras? Thanks

Although released on VHS almost a year ago, this has yet to make it out on DVD. I cannot find any info. on it as an upcoming release anywhere, but I seem to remember someone here knew why they decided not to release it on DVD yet. Maybe they could repost that info?

I absolutely love the DVD... probably the best Disney DVD ever produced. It's worth it just for the beautiful title screens and hours of bonus feature!

The lowest price I've found for it is at www.mainstreetpins.com where it's $25, as opposed to LaughingPlace's $38.

"Hours of Bonus Features?" Is that an exageration? If not that's enough to make me buy it right there. I just hate when they tell you about the bonus features and you wind up with 5 minutes of stock footage , or scenes from the film that just happen to have narration to qualify as a making of. thanks guys.

I have to say there's at least a good hour + of bonus features (the majority of it interviews that didn't make it into the actual film... plus the film was extended to 2 hours). Like you, I didn't at all expect it when I bought the DVD, but it has become my favorite Disney DVD of all time. It really is a great tribute to Walt.

This is probably a region 1 only release I assume.
Any idea if/when a region 2 (European) release would be available?

yes this is only a region 1 release - I bought it during my recent trip to Disneyland.

I don't know wether there are any plans for a region 2 release ... I fear not in the near future.

I would advise you to take a look around the internet wether there is anyway to improve your DVD-player so that you can change its regional code. There are quiet a few out there were you can do this....
