Mike Lee's "Widen Your World" website has just posted a rare piece of lost Disney audio. The preview for the never-built "Western River Expedition" that was given by an AA owl named Hoot Gibson in the museum area of the Walt Disney Story building that people could see after leaving the Walt Disney Story movie. This is a live recording, but well worth hearing.

He mentions incidentally, that the background music for this audio program (which is much harder to hear on this live recording) was the same music piped in on a loop for Winky's Bar in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
Well done Mike, and thanks! In the past, Mike has brought back to life other lost audio vignettes from WDW, including the queue narration for 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, and this was something I'd hoped would surface eventually.
