TTA Music

When I was at WDW 2 weeks ago I rode the TTA and other than the star tunnel music there was no music at all. Yesterday I was back out at WDW and they have added the "Now Is The Time" and "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" from the current area music loop versions to the actual audio of the TTA. Even when you go into where the Model City of the future is and Space Mountain you can clearly hear both. I recorded it and Just thought I'd mention it.

Could you clarify that the music was actually coming out of the overhead speakers on the TTA track? I've been on the TTA several times since they have updated the Tomorrowland area music, and everytime I've been on it I've heard the music playing in the background. The music hasn't been coming from the TTA, though, and is only ambient from the other areas the music is playing in the park.

It was actually on the track in certain places. I know you could faintly hear it in the background before while riding but now it is crystal clear. I have clips of the audio if you want to hear them and judge for yourself.

A friend of mine sent me a DVD of viedo he took recently featuring two differnt TTA trips on the same day.....The new WDW Tomorrowland music was playing on the overheads.....BUT: I did notice that BOTH T/Progress City
model........AND "If You Had Wings" played both times at the "Buzz" preview. .........the general Tomorrowing land music was differnt tracks.so I assume that they using the loop on the regular WEDWAY track levels........and specified tumes on the preview segments.

The Original WEDWAY PEOPLMOVER did this also......the general BGM was cut out and featured specific Preview window tracks (listed as WEDWAY LEVEL JARGON on speaking call-outs of the period) so when guests viewed "If You Had Wings" along the WEDWAY, they heard a recording of that music playing along than tunnel.same with RCA hOme of Future Living. The speakers arn't new, they are just being utilized again.

I sure would love to get a decent recording of the Peoplemover from back in those days. In regard to the present, the recording I have has the "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" section of the loop starting just before you enter the model city and the whole time you are in there. It continues all the way inside of space mountain up until the star tunnel music starts. Then there isn't much until the astro orbiters where the "Now Is The Time" section starts and continues thru buzz lightyear. Then another section of the loop starts when you arrive at Rocket Tower Plaza Station.
