Thanks for the info. Does Aunt Polly's play those harmonica tracks that are in that 13 minute long loop (the one that ends abruptly?). Is there any information to what plays on that section of the Rivers of America? I haven't yet been on the Liberty Belle, but I've been on the Mark Twain in Disneyland, which I believe plays that kind of banjo music on board. If you talking about WDW, on a visit several months back with another member, the only music we heard on Tom Sawyer's Island was from Aunt Polly's. There is a short piece of banjo music that plays in one area of Rivers of Amercia, as the Liberty Belle passes by (no music plays on the Liberty Belle). Otherwise, there is no other music to be heard. Finally, the queue for the Liberty Belle plays the normal Liberty Square music.
My mistake - the track I was referring to was 12 minutes and I believe it is one half of the longer loop. I was wondering where that particular track played.I'm not sure what 13m track you are referring to. I have something longer that does not end abruptly. I haven't gone back to check whether this loop is what is currently playing at Aunt Polly's, at least not yet.
The Liberty Belle plays no music at all (I wish it played something under the narration). I don't have any information on the set piece audio.
I knew he looked familiar! For a minute I thought I heard some WDW TSI tracks play onboard the Mark Twain, but I'll double-check that against a YouTube video and see what I find. If not, do you have any information on what's played on the Mark Twain? The banjo music in question is the Disneyland pirates of the caribbean guy that got plopped into WDW's rivers of america right? If so it's a similar sounding banjo as in the ride at DL but definitely not something that plays on the Mark Twain.
Walt Disney World's Tom Sawyer Island (1973) has had lots of music! As well as the Liberty Square Riverboats (Admiral Joe Fowler 1971 and Richard F Irvine 1973) As well as The Rivers of America.
RIVERS OF AMERICA
--River Pirate Den (Little Brown Jug)
--Sand Bar sfx
--Indian Village (different than DL's old Indian Village)
LIBERTY SQUARE RIVERBOATS
--6 banjo, harmonica, jews harp arrangements (3 of these tracks were used on DL's Mark Twain thru the 70's and early 2000's)
MIKE FINK KEEL BOATS
--on board music (backwoods guitar)
TOM SAWYER ISLAND
--Fort Sam Clemens area music -this may have been changed in the 90's
--Fort SFX, blacksmith, jailhouse, sleeping guard
--Harper's Mill (Down by the old Mill Stream cacophony)
--Magnetic Mystery Mine (sfx with music tone --same fashion as the sunken temple on the Jungle Cruise)
--Aunt Polly's Restaurant (this was playing as late as 2000 --I remember it was very static sounding over the speakers but could identify "she'll be coming 'round the Mountain"
