Theme song from "Freaky Friday"?

Does anyone have a copy of the theme song from "Freaky Fiday"? It's one of my favorite movies and I loved the song, but it's not on any CD that I know of. I found out that the same songwriting team behind "Pete's Dragon" did the music for"Freaky Friday". I can't even remember the title of the theme song though.

Thanks,
Ben C.

The song is "I'd Like to Be You For a Day". It was released as a single (F564). I've also found that there may have been another single (F566) that was performed by The Osmonds. Obviously these singles are long out of print, but you may be able to find them on eBay or old record shops.

To my knowledge, this has not been released on CD. I tried to have this song included as part of the 75th set, but several issues prevented it. It could very well be these issues that keep the song from being released on CD.

Thanks, Randy, I"ll have to start searching for those singles now...

I really loved the animated opening that the song went with! I'm going to have to pop in my video tape and watch the movie again. I hope it makes it to DVD soon.

I wish this song had made it onto one of the compilation cds. I would prefer the original, though not having heard the Osmonds version, I would still prefer the original. I think the Brady Bunch recorded a version on one of their early albums, but I am not sure.

I think that was the version I heard, from some Brady Bunch compilation (Jan and Marsha singing).
