The Wonderland Music Store

It's offical! The new digital distribution kiosks (the replacement for the Forever System) is now called The Wonderland Music Store. As mentioned in my first post on the subject, this name is in tribute of the original Wonderland Music Store that opened with Disneyland on July 17th, 1955. The original store was owned and operated by the Walt Disney Music Company (which included the then named Disneyland / Vista Records [now Walt Disney Records]). It seems only fitting that this new digital outlet be named after our first and only store in celebration of not only Disneyland's 50th Anniversary, but Walt Disney Records' 50th Anniversary as well. Signage and info about The Wonderland Music Store will begin to show up in the park and possibly the park guides as well. As a great touch, the folks at Disneyland have done the research and they'll be using the original vintage Wonderland Music Store logo as well.

I also have confirmation that you can order the Wonderland CDs through the Disney DelivEARS 1-800 number. Now all of you who live too far away to just drop by Disneyland can order any of the Wonderland CDs by calling 1-800-362-4533.

Thanks for the updates and all of your work on this. Thats good news that they can be ordered from Delivears. Hopefully in the future we can get them online from something similar to Itunes and save on the postage costs

Great news--maybe things are starting to fall into place!

You know, just for the hellofit, I checked on ebay for the new CD's, and some clown(as in Krusty) was offering them as a "Buy It Now" for $40......it's a wonderful world!

And having the Wonderland Store logo IS a great "retro" touch, as we now say......
