I have a question on an obscure subject...the background music outside the Land Pavilion is something that is seemingly overlooked by most people. The outdoor bgm isn't the same as the music inside the building---inside, the music is more of a folksy genre, more in keeping with the old Living With the Land tune---but outside the building the music sounds like synthesized-futuristic renditions of songs like Ol' Man River, etc.
Now my question is this: the music outside sounds like it is original to the park, very much in keeping with ca. 1982, and the song selection (land-related) leads me to believe this loop was only used for the exterior of the Land Pavilion.
Is this the case, or does anyone have any information about the history of this loop? If it hasn't changed since '82, I'd be willing to bet it's the only original piece of background music still used in Future World---and even then it will probably only last until Soarin' opens and the Pavilion gets its facelift.
Thoughts?
