Tokyo Disneyland One Man?s Dream II: The Magic Lives On CD release date was announced.
Date: Nov. 18, 2004 Catalog No. AVW1-12398 Price 2,100 Yen (Tax Included)

Unfortunately the CD will be available at Tokyo Disneyland only since the catalog number starts with AVW1. Note that AVW1 is used for sale at Tokyo Disney Resort only or cast exclusive CD. The No. for normal sale is AVCW-.

I really like ?Mickey Mouse Our Shining Star? track on One Man?s Dreams II.

I forgot to post one more thing here. AVEX issued the press release a couple of month ago that adoption of the copy control (protection) would depend on the CD title in the future release. That means, some of the CD?s would be released with copy control and the other would be released without copy control.

From this website, One Man?s Dream II and TDL Christmas Fantasy would be released without copy control. TDS Harborside Christmas 2004 is Copy Control CD. (The tracks on Harborside 2004 are identical to Horborside Christmas 2003).

Do you know if the TDL Christmas Fantasy CD will have the same tracks as the 2003 version or have they changed the show?

This year?s castle show (Mickey?s Christmas Present) and Christmas parade (Mickey?s Christmas on Parade) are different from the last year?s show and parade. So the tracks on the CD are changed.

Christmas Fantasy 2004 CD includes:
Track 1. Mickey?s Christmas Present
Track 2. Mickey?s Christmas on Parade

The Xmas show for this year is entirely new, and so is the parade, but some of the songs are Xmas standards newly recorded for this year's event. I believe the CD will be out on Nov 21st. I certainly looked all over TDR this past thursday the 18th but didn't find it. I did buy the "One Man's Dream II" cd and the harborside Xmas. As Yoshi stated, the TDS cd is a repacked cd from last year's. There is nothing new on the CD since the TDS shows are virtually the same as last year's Xmas event. The newly re-issued cd does not even say 2004 on the cover, but does have a sticker explaining it is the 2003 version re-released.

Oh too bad, as I felt this year's Castle show is one of the best I have seen done at TDL. The plot of it bring mist to my eyes. Especially when Mickey surprises Santa with a party! What a wonderfully delightful show they put on this year! :)

The official TDR site (the link above) says TDL Christmas Fantasy CD is released on Nov 21 at Tokyo Disneyland and on Dec 1 nationwide.

The entire OMD2 music is newly recorded. However there are some re-recordings of severalof the original show's selections as a good 65% of the show is a remake of the old one with several changes in music arrangements. However, the new OMD2 does have some totally new music in it as well. It's worth having.
