Spaceship Earth CD- RANDY??

I heartily second that motion! I would love to have a legitimate Spaceship Earth cd. Meanwhile, I have created my own from various mp3s culled from the 'net, but I would gladly trash it for an official release! ;D

I would love a Spaceship Earth compilation of all three narrations in the program's history through the years (and maybe an official one would once and for all settle the question of who narrated the original 1982-86 program). I always liked the Cronkite one best, especially with the wonderful orchestral arrangment of "Tomorrow's Child" as you reached the top.

Now you're talkin'. Unfortunately, I doubt that we'll ever see an official Horizons release. I have my own home-made 2 cd Horizons set which gets a lot of play. What an amazing score!

While we're dreaming, let's go a step further-
an Epcot CD. I'd like to have not only Spaceship
Earth with the Cronkitt narration and the Horzion
music but also the park entry loops and the
Rio del Tiempo (sp?) River of Time (Mexico) also
The American Adventure Show. ;) But alas I fear
this will be nothing more than a Figment of my
imagination ::)

OH YES - we want an EPCOT-CD ... come on WDW, Randy suggested it several times already to release official albums for all four theme parks, now move ahead with that, believe us, there is a market for these CDs - and the best: you can release a "best of" from these four CDs as the "Official Album of WDW"! That way you could easily release a "new" version of the OA every year just by changing some of the tracks (e.g. out with the SpaceShip Earth track in with the River of Time track, which would be both taken from the EPCOT-CD so no new remastering or remixing). To keep the source of new material fresh you could also release a new version of one of the four the park specific CDs every year or every second year... If managed with a bit thinking it would be easy to have at least one or two popular songs on each park specific CD which are not on the OA that is available, so most guests who are interested in a CD would (at least that is my thought) buy the OA and maybe one or two of the park specific CDs in fact increasing the sales of CDs.

But, uh, this would mean profit and you would have to think to make the profit so I guess this brakes all thwe rules Pressler and Eisner have established in the last years!!

2007.. That would be a great year for an Epcot retrospective CD since the park will be celebrating its 25th year. Of course, I'd rather see a CD release of Horizons score, Spaceship Earth score (particularly the finale), Rio del Tiempo, a complete ride-through mix of Journey into Imagination, and others sooner but I really, really hope we see part of the inevitable year-long celebration dedicated to the past as well as the future.

I would LOVE a official Spaceship Earth CD, with each scene's individual tracks, narrations, and then a remix of it all together. It would mean so much to me, I just cannot express how I feel about it. This attraction deserves a CD by itself. And I WOULD buy it.
