Space Mountain Music Question

In trying to fill in some gaps I came up with a couple questions about Space Mountain, mostly WDW's but any info will help.
1)I believe the music that currently plays in WDW's queue (which was released in the Forever system) was not the original music, correct? I believe I was told that something related to the RCA home of future living played instead. Can anyone fill me in?
2) Who wrote the current music that plays there?
3)What kind of music does Tokyo have for their Space Mountain?
4)Was there any area music around DL Space Mountain prior to the tomorrowland 2055 loop?
5)Also I'm familiar with the sfx that played (wed-wed-wed-wed) somewhere within space mountain I believe. Which parks did this play at. Where exactly could one hear this (queue, on the attraction itself, etc...)
6) And though I know it's been discussed several times before, does anyone have a track listing for the tracks that play WDW's exit ramp? I believe most if not all are Esquivel.
Thanks as always.

........Most of the Space Mpuntain music that was released on the WDW Forever system (entry, exit.etc.) was done for the 1985 redo of the attraction.....the replaced the RCA Home of Future Living portion with The RCA-1 Colony vignettes. This also brought in the new music (on the WDW Forever). It is called "We've Come So Far" and was composed by George Wilkins, with the words by Larry Gertz. Sadly the actual "colony" music was never relesed nor the song.........

"........We've come so far, yet there's very far to go.....we've wtached our dreams become reality......we have tasted what the future holds in store for us......and realize that we hold the keys......." anyway........it's lyrics are hard to apply to the entry /exi versions.....but it is beautiful music........

The Space Mt, SFX used at WDW and DL are the same ones recorded back in the mid part of 1974. The comlink.and "bubble tones" are also part of the 1974 theme.

It would have been exciting if WDW Forever had added more of the 1975 stuff like some of the Home of Future Living etc.... or the original attraction welcome spiel:

" Come with us on a journey into space and the world of Future living".......

and many people call the original music "Here's to the Future"...but infact is called "Let Your Dreams Lead the way"..........in the final version it was "RCA Leads the Way"

Wow, how informative was that?! Thanks for that wealth of info...now to get ahold of those tracks somwhere.

It can still be heard (unless they cut it in the last 2 weeks).....though there are some elements of dorsey's that play at DL's tomorrowland that are not heard at epcot....All of these tracks I believe were released on DLF.

Just out of curiosity, what was this? Was this an actual song, or piece of music, or was it just a sound-effect type of thing? (I'm imagining a siren, "wee-oh, wee-oh")

I also recall them watching a scene from an RCA video disc of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at some point in the early 80s.

Re: Don Dorsey and Space Mountain, I just asked Don if he ever did anything for Space Mountain and his answer was "No, I did not". He is currently in Japan on a job and so our chat was short but I asked him who else might have been around Disney circa 1977 and responsible for the "weho weho" track and I'm hoping he'll get back to me when he's back.
