Space Mountain Concourse Tracks

What exactly is the story behind these 10 tracks...I know that some, maybe all, of them were released on DL Forever, but I've read that some of the tracks (Energy, Golden Dream, Listen to the Land, etc) were used as Epcot's entrance BGM in the early 80's. And the Energy track is currently used on WDW's Official Album under the title Future World Entrance, or something to that effect.

One of the things that confused me was how the Epcot songs had a synthesizer element, while the 20,000 Leagues song was more traditionally orchestrated...

So were these Space Mtn Concourse tracks all used in the area outside Space Mtn's entrance...? If so, does anyone know when that music was introduced?

Thanks in advance...

Here's what I've been able to piece together: The Space Mountain Concourse Loop is also called Tomorrowland 2055, as it was (to my understanding) created in anticipation of this much grander TL redo planned in the mid 90's. The loop was introduced in 1995, and besides being heard in the bathroom at the exit of Space Mountain could also be heard on that upper concourse. It was made up of the 1982 Epcot Entrance loop, edited together with new recordings of old TL tunes like Great big Beautiful Tomorrow, Miracles from Molecules etc.... I don't think I've ever heard who is credited with arranging this piece. It's one of my favorite pieces of Park Music ever. Imagine if the Wonderland music company started doing individual albums of Park Loops? Wouldn't this be the coolest CD?

Me and my friend always nicknamed this music "toilet music". The synth is the wonderfully cheesy analog of an Arp or an Oberheim, not sure what is being used. But it has this wonderful 70's feeling.

I think at epcot, wasnt it called the Promenade music?

The one big worry is that the music would be gone when the Space Mountain redo was done. Thankfully, they kept it, and since they no longer play this loop at Epcot, the only place to hear it now is the space mountain toilets...

Or www.mouseinfo.com/radio where the loop can be heard 24 hours a day on demand. :)

Very nice. Thanks there. I have been avoiding some other Disney websites due to the vicious tentacles spread from soe other site. Glad to see good people round. Thanks kindly.
