small world wdw rehab

Did anyone else hear the rumor about the wdw samll world 10 month rehab thats gonna happen soon?

not a rumor; complete fact. iasw will be down for major rehab. Asbestos will be removed, sets rebuilt, animatronics rehabbed and, yes, audio system upgraded in line with the recent rehab at Disneyland.

also heard entrance and exit going under major rehab too and maybe the outside getting a face lift that my also go into the land next to iasw where the old skyway entrance was

Actually, those spiels were taken out of the attraction and replaced by updated safety spiels in late 2002.

From what I understand, renovation begins in May and will continue through Nov. I just hope that they don't get too far removed from the cool 70's look of the ride. One of the few things that I still see there that vividly reminds me of my childhood trips there in the early 70's.
