Hey,

Quick question--does anyone know what the gold poles are for in the snow globes (Share A Dream Come True Parade)? Just wondering! Thanks!

I believe that the pole is used by the character inside the globe as a "stabilizer" - something to hold on to so that they feel secure. It's hard to see in those costumes, so they usually either have the character tethered to the float or give them a pole which they hold on to while they're not dancing around.

That's what it looks like anyway, it's been a while since I've seen that parade.
