SeaWorld 'Believe' Soundtrack

I thought I had read somewhere that the soundtrack for SeaWorld's new Shamu show was being released. I was at SeaWorld this week and didn't see it anywhere. Did I just dream this, or is it released somewhere?

There is another thread on this further down... I corresponded with the composer recently and learned that the cd is expected in November or December.

I second Dr. Know's recommendation! Absolutely fantastic CD. I've been listening to this one constantly! From what I hear from a friend, "Black and White" is the basis for the new pre-show, replacing the old (and, IMHO, highly-irritating) penguin bit. I love that song - it's about the only place in the entire show where we get a hint of a conservation message! "One Drop" is also very pretty. That one actually inspired me to get back to my killer whale art the other day.

(And I'll admit I've been doing the "Shamu Slam" as much as I hated that part of the show)

Agree!!!!!! Christopher Ward has done a wonderful job with the "Believe" schore. The CD is also WONDERFUL not only because it's a complete soundtrack but it also includes all the demo tracks that are not in the show. So everything ever produced for the show has been released.

The "Blue Horizons" CD is also wonderful. Both of these CD"s can be purchased in the parks.

In addition Busch Gardens Tampa released KaTonga!

The Busch Entertainment parks have had a better year for releases than Disney. Busch Entertainment would never release the same tracks over and over again.

So the important question would be what are they charging for these CDs? Is it standard Disney $20-25? Or something more reasonable like $10?

Yay! I've been waiting for this for a long time. Of course, I was just at Busch Gardens a few weeks ago and didn't see it, grumble, grumble. Love the opening and closing especially of this show.

Hmmm, I don't see it at what I think is the Busch Gardens online store either. Anyone know if it is still available.

How ticked will I be if I missed my chance!

I think the Believe one ran around $16-17-ish - my friend who got a copy for me said it ran her like $15.50 with her passholder discount. That's actually considerably more than most SeaWorld CDs have run. CDs like Cirque de la Mer have been $10.
