Animating Music: Disney's Toots, Whistles, Plunks and Booms
Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 2 PM EDT

From memorable feature-length film scores, like those of Fantasia and Beauty and the Beast, to music-oriented shorts, like Silly Symphonies and the Oscar-winning "Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom," Disney's music has been integral to its success. We'll talk with Oscar-winning Disney composer, Alan Menken, and film music historian Ross Care about Disney's musical past, present, and future.

Well, the earthquake here in Virginia interrupted the radio program about 16 minutes into it. Ross was asked to stay on the line but they never came back to him. :(

Edit: "NYC Producer" just posted this comment on the page for the show:
"Hey everyone: We had to cut today's segment short due to breaking news and the East Coast earthquake. We plan to reschedule Ross and Alan for a future segment."
