Questions on OA Tracks and Other Tidbits

In reference to almandot's post, I actually prefer to wear a shirt  .

For Lights, Motors, Action I had the full score cues from the original recording sessions. Though these cues appear in sequence, they are edited for use in the show to underscore the choreography (which can then be re-choreographed with a few simple edits). For the CD track, I used the straight 'unaltered' cues as they were recorded. That's why things won't match up against a field recording and why there's more music on the CD version.

Hope that helps,
Randy

Thanks for the info Randy. It occurs to me that this is true with several tracks- Space Mountain and California Screamin' for instance, which have different timing/editing on the ride to match up to the ride experience.

I'm curious now to see what the edits are like. I think I'll try and put together an edit matching some recordings I have and see what the differences are.

Randy, would you happen to know where the different cues are in the track? If not it's no big deal. I think I have a general idea but I don't want to guess at it.
