Pinocchio Village Haus

You guys were extremely helpful in identifying the Out Of Africa track from The Land/GMR, so I thought I'd ask about one of my favorite tracks from the Pinocchio Village Haus loop.

It starts off like one of the typical, festive, instrumental, Bavarian-sounding tracks, but then it gets even more charming when some children's voices enter the track and sing a very catchy melody. It sounds like they are singing in German. I believe this is the only track on this loop in which I've heard vocals, so this will hopefully be helpful to anyone familiar with the loop - it would be a lot harder to describe and pinpoint the instrumental tracks since there's a lot more!

If anyone can identify this Village Haus track, and/or knows if it is available on CD, I'd really appreciate it!

PS. I think my three favorite music loops in all of WDW are (in no particular order) Pinocchio Village Haus, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, and Main Street Christmas Loop - especially the unbelievably sublime "Ihr Kinderlein Kommet" - found at the 2:15 mark in the following clip:

I don't believe it's needledrop, although it ALMOST was. I seem to recall someone saying that many of the Haus tracks were produced by Jack Wagner for a record he wanted to put out with that musical group. The album never saw the light of day, but he used the music for that loop. At least, that's the story I recall. It's probably on this very forum somewhere!

I am listening to the loop right now. It is definitely needledrop as there are loud snaps, crackles, and pops in every track — including the one being asked about here. I haven't made it all the way through, but I have already IDed a couple of the yodeling tracks.

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately, I could not get that page to load. I tried in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I haven't visited that site before, but I guess it's either down today or there's some kind of problem on my end.

I just wanted to post an update that I found the name and artist of the track I was looking for!

It's listed at Amazon here, and appears to be/have been part of a 4 CD set:

S' Kantönlilied

Unfortunately for my old school, PHYSICAL MEDIA CD collecting habits, it appears to be currently available as "download" only - or at least Amazon doesn't currently have the physical CD available new or through the marketplace. But at least I now know the name of this extremely catchy track and what CD it is from!

I have this Youtube clip to thank, as the name of the track and an Amazon link came up with it. The quality here is nowhere near as good as the "download" sample, but the track I am referring to runs from around 2:24 to 4:23 of the following clip:


Another "mystery" of the name and origin of one of my favorite WDW BGM tracks has been solved!

Excellent find! Thanks for sharing this information. Has anyone else done any work on the Village Haus loop, i.e. titles, artists, album information? (If I remember right, Horizons confirmed that the 59.13 version beginning with the "Snow White Medley" is still in use at the Magic Kingdom.)
